Vårt rum, executive dubbelrum med balkong och havsutsikt, var superbra! Det såg ut exakt så som bilderna visat vid bokning. Rent o fräscht rum, Trevlig personal.

Room was nice

Always a delight.. location fantastic. Staff wonderful esp Mamoona at reception. Highlights- Coconuts at bfast, cocktails at sunset and pool in between!

Room very clean. Air conditioning was a life saver. Very courteous staff. Great location. Would have liked instructions for how shower worked. Very good shower once learned how to get hot water. Great book store downstairs. Good shopping for souvenirs. Good restaurants.

My booking got cancelled by the hotel, neither they nor x-peed-I-a could inform me in time to make alternative arrangements. If the failure is with the agent then they need to improve their systems. If the fault lies with the hotel, and they repeat the failure, then their services shouldn’t be offered.

Super location just noisy.. Maybe possible during the week but otherwise music till morning.... then loud house keeping staff 3 days in a row came out of my room to humbly ask if they could keep it down.....

Amazing location for sunsets esp from seaview suites. Lovely pool. Coconuts at bfast! Super professional and helpful staff.

This is my 7th time staying at the Slipway and it doesn’t disappoint. I do miss the supermarket that used to be located downstairs. I love the ocean views, sunsets, breakfast, and convenient access to shops and souvenirs. The restaurants - especially aroma Zanzibar and Thai Cano are delicious and the juice bar is an excellent touch. The Lido lounge and padel courts were a fun addition this year. I also enjoy the spa each time we come. Thank you to the consistent and wonderful staff. Asante!

Great place to stay. Beautiful atmosphere. Plenty to do. But I had a VERY BIG issue checking in. When checking in hotel did not have booking from Expedia. I showed proof of booking and gave me room for 1st night. But said they were full second night, so I had to talk to Expedia about it because I did not want to be without room second night. But was told to just wait. It ended up working out and hotel let me stay in room both nights. But having the extra stress was unfair to me .

Nice hotel within a walking distance to the beach and also many small shops to get items that you need before traveling onward in Tanzania

Safe property Good amenities Issues getting extra key fobs were difficult. Only had one for each room and needed to use them to get into hotel

Enjoyed this property- the room was spacious and air conditioned with a little balcony that overlooked the pool and water. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent hot water. Restaurants and shopping right at hotel.
