Staff was very friendly especially the front desk guy on duty during my arrival (past 10PM) he already knows me as I am a frequent guest and immediately fixed the glitch I made on my booking because I erroneously booked on the all-female Dorm room. Nice Hostel and staff, clean rooms and linens, comfy beds.

Everything's great aside from the staff from the bar (5th floor). They prefer to attend to foreigners first before us Asians. I will revisit the place hoping for improvements.

Its a happy place to stay. The place is good, clean and, offer a god service. But I do recommend to limit non guest. For security purpose of the guest.:).

Arrived past 12 midnite, heavy rains and flooding in the area, but still was admitted at the hostel.

I always choose to stay at Mad Monkeys Cebu because it is affordable, comfortable, has friendly staffs, and you'll meet a lot of people during your stay, and there ' s a party at the roof top every night with free drinks.
