We had an excellent stay at Axel Hotel San Sebastián and would definitely return. The hotel is perfectly located, very central and ideal for exploring San Sebastián on foot. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the hotel felt modern, stylish, and comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms are beautifully designed, quiet, and the beds are extremely comfortable. A special mention goes to the staff, who were always friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The parking is secure and conveniently located directly at the hotel. At €29 per night, it is slightly expensive, but understandable considering the city location. Overall, we were thoroughly satisfied with our stay and highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely book here again.

Disappointed that the roof top had no bar, nor shade, and there was no bar in the hotel. Stayed in better Axel hotels.

We chose this hotel as it had a pool, gym, and parking. Keep in mind, if you don’t pay for a balcony view, a lot of the rooms look into other apartments so the rooms feel like you’re in a fish bowl and you don’t get a lot/if any direct sunlight. I was here for 5 nights and we had to move rooms once because the drains emitted a musty smell. Overall, the rooms are clean, albeit a little sterile.

This is a decent budget hotel. Staff is very friendly. We had a few issues that were bothersome like no air conditioning in the gym. It would be dangerous to do an intense workout. The knob on our shower came off as well.

Great stay - very centrally located and easy to walk everywhere. AC was powerful in the hot heat.

This is an Axel hotel so I expected certain amenities and support. The room was great and spacious, as well as finely equipped. The pool area was good but lacked services like food and drinks. There was no rooftop scene to get into at night. Recommendations about bars and nightlife were severely lacking. There were a couple small touches at the pool area, like a small glass of champagne was served once while I was there. Could be an amazing property with a few enhancements being made. Location cannot be beat. The staff was very friendly and helpful!!! The property and area very safe day and night. There were a few restaurants right around the corner with a very local vibe.

A modern hotel well situated for the Eusktren station and a 10 minute stroll from the Old Town. Nice breakfast and very helpful staff.

Meget lille pool. Personalet var ikke specielt hjælpsomme da vi kom. Morgenmaden var nogenlunde men der blev ikke fyldt hurtigt nok op. En god gåtur til centrum - så nogenlunde okay beliggenhed.

Hotel recent, tres propre. Notre chambre était tres étroite.. Le Petit déjeuner est correct (18€). Tres placé dans la ville.

Mycket bra, trevlig pool på taket för att svalka av sig, två bastu och jaccuzipool inomhus. Mycket bra frukostbuffé och bra kaffe. Så trevlig, professionell personal som pratar mycket bra engelska.

Excelente hotel, moderno, funcional y con personal muy amable y acogedor, especialmente Danel! A 10 minutos caminando de la playa y centro de la ciudad. Muy recomendable!!! Para volver muchas veces.

Hotel location is good and easy 10 min walk to seafront or old town. Hotel is modern and clean but maybe a bit clinical for our tastes. Room was fairly small and a bit expensive compared to other hotels in Northern Spain. Underground car park was easy to use but you can't pre book it and its expensive (€28pn). There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby which are popular with locals and much cheaper than the tourist spots in old town

Overall this is a great property. The staff are courteous, helpful, and friendly.

Le personnel était au top en particulier Raquel ainsi que le petit déjeuner, nous avons passer un excellent séjour . Le petit bémol la piscine extérieur n’était pas chauffer .

Hotel tout neuf avec chambre spacieuse. Situé dans le centro proche cathédrale à 20 minutes à pied de la vieille ville et 15 minutes de la concha. Très bon petit-déjeuner. Spa propre sur réservation avec sauna hammam et grand jaccuzi. Piscine type patogeoire en roof top. Accueil assez froid mais en français. Parking payant à 28 euros

Not worth the price. Spend your money elsewhere and enjoy real amenities and good service.

Ok location (15 min walk to Old Town). Hotel was very modern and clean. Room was comfortable. Layout works for a couple (not a lot of separation between bathroom area and bedroom). In an older residential area so views from the room were mid. Parking garage was tight. Had to park in city deck first night (€29) because hotel garage was full.
