Very cool property, with a local flair, clean and well maintained. There's a number of steps from the street level to the entrance of the building, and then more to the rooms (no elevators, of course). Nice decorations all-over, with attention to detail, traditional-looking, very clean and appealing. Be mindful when you book, as the meaning of "detached private bathroom" does not disclose that the bathroom is down the hallway. I assume the rooms listed under "private bathroom" have a layout that includes it. Should have checked before making a reservation! Good, clear communication via email/whatsapp prior to check-in, as there is no reception on premise. Attentive and helpful staff, excellent location - you can be close to tourist attractions, restaurants, the ferry, the water promenade, etc. - but safe and quiet at the same time. I would definitely book again, just a different room.

An absolutely stunning old building in such a perfect area for our first visit to Malta. We stayed in Jean as it was our anniversary celebration and loved having the bathtub in the room to relax in after long days walking up and down the steps in the city. The hotel was a true gem of a find and the area itself was so much nicer to stay in than Valetta in our opinion.

The location is amazing - where Cospicua meets Birgu. Right by the ferry to Valletta. Lovely old house with a lovely breakfast served in the courtyard area

Beautiful hotel, clean, everything you need. The staff were lovely and friendly, nothing was a problem. Ideal location, so close to the ferry port to Valletta but there was no noise that could be heard while in the hotel. All round perfect hotel

I take showers, not baths, so it was a challenge to shower in a bath tub without shower curtain. I hope you’d consider putting one up. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay!

Tutto curato nei minimi particolari. Si tratta di una casa antica, in ambiente antico. Per arrivarci bisogna superare una trentina di scalini e anche all'interno è lo stesso Affascinante, unica. Tenendo conto che si tratta di una casa di altri tempi

Extraordinaria ubicación. Lugar céntrico y bien comunicado con La Cottonera y La Valeta, sin problemas de aparcamiento. Excelente trato, buen desayuno. Preciosa casa del siglo XVI.

Fantastisk sted. Like ved ferge til Valletta, men også gå avstand til alle tre cities. Dorian var veldig hjelpsom og fleksibek ang. innsjekk. Hele hotellet er vakkert gjennomført.
