Location of the lodge is real highlight. Right on the shoreline with the sea view on one side, three other sides face greenery of surrounding mangroves with water level changes wih tidal cycles. Rooms face the west providing joy of watching sunsets from private balconies. However, this nature's beauty couldn't translate into a holiday to remember due to reasons of humans making. Basic necessities of modern living such as electricity and water didn't go without interaption one single day during my 7 days stay!! WiFi was a bit better with problems experienced only every second day. A reasonable visitor prepares themselves for the next destination, but even 3 star hotel anywhere is expected to provide steady, reliable supply of basic tourists needs, which goes without saying. It looked like you pay averagee world standard price for Madagascar standard quality.

Very nice relaxing place with friendly owner and staff.If you want peace and quiet to relax it's for you if you want parties and nightlife it's not for you.Food was very good in restaurant.

Struttura di recente costruzione, con stanze più grandi della media dotate di aria condizionata e frigo. Bagno ampio con bidet e doccia. Possibilità di prenotare delle stupende escursioni con un’ottima guida locale. Struttura provvista di ristorante interno dove poter mangiare ottimi piatti locali con influenze italiane. Presente anche una piccola palestra con attrezzi di nuova generazione. Personale sempre disponibile a soddisfare tutte le esigenze

our experience from check-in to check out exceeded our expectations even though we’d read all the great reviews from previous visitors. On arrive we were met by the owner warm friendly informal checkin we were taken to our room right on the beach perfect tranquil views of the bay. The room it’s self was new fresh with stocked mini bar great comfy bed crisp clean linen air conditioning and flat screen tv with Netflix ( we never used tv ) the bathroom was big with nice shower. In the evening we ate at the restaurant from fixed menu with three choices well cooked well presented tasty food. In the morning after breakfast we took a great massage before walking around the bay on a wooden walkway to a solitary secluded bathing “hut” which had stairs leading into the sea, unfortunately we only booked one night so had to leave far to early onto the night hotel in Nosy be but we’ll definitely be back for a much longer stay very soon

La struttura è immersa nell'ambiente malgasco, circondata dalle mangrovie e direttamente sul mare... praticamente nel mare !! Le camere e gli appartamenti molto spaziosi hanno tutti una fantastica vista del mare. Tramonti ed albe eccezionali diversi ogni giorno. Ambiente accogliente e familiare. Ristorante con buono il cibo, cucina italiana e malgascia. Assolutamente consigliato a tutti coloro che vogliono godersi la vera Africa !!

Emeraude lodge is the Paradise! They will meet you with the warmest hugs you can imagine! Amazing views! A very silent place! Excellent location! Tasty food cooked by the natural Malagasy chief! European service! And they have their own diving center "Our Ocean"! I am the beginner but still could have an awesome dive with the personal instructor! And they also can arrange lots of interesting trips for you! I recommend Emeraude Lodge and will do my best to return one day!

Such a nice location, we enjoyed so much.

The hotel is located at a beautiful private beach which is located in a side street and therefore quiet and peaceful. The room is big and clean with a big porch and an awesome view onto the sea. Additionally there's is a beautiful little platform in the sea which you can reach by a jetty where you can enjoy the sunset with a glas of vine. The owners and the rest of the staff are friendly and helpful.

Ambiente rilassante, diving attrezzato e con ottimi istruttori. Mi sono sentito davvero a casa.

Soggiorno di tre notti presso questa struttura, a 20 min a piedi dalla bellissima spiaggia dell’Andilana ad accesso libero. La struttura si trova in riva al mare anche se i cambiamenti dettati dalla marea lasciano a volte asciutta la spiaggia, in ogni caso gli spazi sono davvero molto ampli e accoglienti: camera e salotto spazioso, bagno con doccia grandissima (e acqua calda! Per niente scontato in Madagascar!) grande terrazzo affacciato sulla spiaggia, Wi-Fi, televisione (comfort che non abbiamo trovato in altre strutture). Sebbene ancora in fase di avviamento, ci siamo trovati bene!
