We enjoyed seeing that this property has been preserved. The room was quite large, the bed was very comfortable and the a/c worked very well! Our only complaint/suggestion would be that the bathroom is next to the main hallway and the upper windows are open for a good airflow but you feel like there’s no privacy at all. If there’s someone in the hallway it’s as if they are in the bathroom with you!

Large room, new furniture. Bathroom fully functional, but outdated. Balcony with view over lush garden and pool. Historic building. Nice and helpful staff. Excellent dinner, Indian, but also steak and other standards at highish prices. Large choice of breakfast options, but nothing special here. Nice bakery in the house. Will come again.

I liked the old structure with its connection to the past. Fairly well maintained/restored. Historical pictures with descriptions. I thought they could do a better job of upgrading some things, particularly in the bathroom. Also carpet.
