Reception, cook’s, cashier, waitresses and even the security they all made my visit so comfortable, they are service minded and helpful.

The whole hotel is super spotless. The rooms are beautiful fresh and clean. The food is delicious and the staff at the woodpecker hotel they are very professional and very well trained in good customer service.

Friendly and affortable service

Start with the good - staff was friendly and always helpful. Also, proximity to airport is big plus and probably the only reason people stay here. Rooms were small with aged furniture. Wifi was spotty to no existent unless standing immediately next to front desk. Overall - ok. A little investment and renewal/upgrade by MGMT would make the facility much better.

This hotels is one of the best hotels in the Gambia close to the airport region. The service is impeccable.

Ik kom hier net meer terug, nadat op de tweede dag 200 euro uit mn hotel kamer is gestolen. Na een dagje weg kwam ik terug en stond mn hotel deur open. Na meerdere pogingen heb ik op de dag van vertrek de camera beelden kunnen bekijken. Waar de tijdstippen van versprongen, de schuld werd terug gelegd bij mij.

Well I was not really happy found the hotel appealing to the eye , know entertainment at night plus the electric went off and on like a Christmas tree you could be in the shower offf try to look for a towel bk off put you clothes on off don’t know what was going on with the electric I will be trying not to stay there again even when going bk to the airport the van broke dwn if I new how to get some money bk frm this holiday I would

I was quickly moved to another room after the air conditioner failed. In both rooms, the available blankets were not clean.

I like the proximity of the property to the international airport. I also enjoyed the food especially the breakfast.

This property looks okay at night but during the day it was terrifying. The building still not completed basically it’s just a building site. The service is poor. The complimentary pick up is a joke. They will not leave until the airport is empty out and you were forced to wait in the airport for over 90 minutes.

Stay was okay but had to chase hotel taxi!

This is a very cheap hotel near the airport so a good location for a night’s stay before flying. It is very basic and tired but very cheap. You would not spend a holiday there. Transport to and from the airport worked well although the mini bus was extremely battered.
