Went with 9 other members of family for family vacation. Hotel met and exceeded expectations. High end touches , excellent service and food was more than adequate and always available.

Osiris is great reference of the brand. His service is outstanding. We feel very comfortable every time we stay at the hotel.

Recently visited for 5 nights and so happy with our stay. We are not luxury travelers so that is not our comparison… but in addition to the grounds being beautiful and staff so gracious and friendly, the rooms are so nice compared to other AI resorts we have stayed at, and the food has been top notch. We had the basic King bed resort view, and the room size and queen sleeper sofa have been plenty spacious for us and 2 teen girls. The separate room for the toilet is a plus and has sped up the family’s total getting ready time 🙂 plenty of space for clothing and luggage storage as well. The balcony setup is increíble and the daybed is the perfect spot for an afternoon nap in the shade. We thought Tempest and Noodle & Thread restaurants were very good. We also enjoyed the Seafood night at the Mercado buffet on our first night: the snow crab claws and Dominican rice and beans were my favorite. For lunch we enjoyed the bbq chicken, rice and veggies by the pool, green and picante sauces were a must! The Caesar salad from Prontoz was also very good. The water park was a hit with our teens, they loved the slides and we used the lazy river (although not too lazy) more than we expected. And well done to the entire nightly entertainment team! The only complaint I have is the sales pitch for upgrades, the showing of the presidential suite and photography. They are persistent but by day 3 left us well enough alone. Really lovely, though! Best vacation resort I’ve ever been to.

It is beautiful and classy. There is a dress code which we appreciated. By that I mean no wife beater shirts & flip flops in restaurants, etc. the staff is amazing- so much to do & so many fabulous people taking care of the guests. We brought our family of 6 & everyone had a marvelous time!! Rooms were spacious & attractive. The design is well done - I appreciated all the details as an established interior designer for 35 years. Grounds & pools were immaculate. The activities were wonderful - so many & something for everyone!! We will return!! Five days is not enough!! Thank you Hyatt Ziva for a wonderful time!! Elizabeth Samuels

The hotel is spectacular and a pleasant place to stay. The main buffet 'Market Place' was really very good. Beach facilities and staff on the beach were nice and helpful. Italian restaurant was great, along with the Blind Butcher Experience (extra $$$). Felt that the staff in general were not overly helpful/attentive or friendly, which is a shame as this created a feel of unease on our stay. With our suite we had a mayordomo/butler included, who wasn't that interested in enhancing our stay, or being helpful. In the restaurants (bar the Blind Butcher) the service was poor, rushed and plates of food literally slapped down on the table. Could be better for the price. Would go back again, and recommend it, but feel that the hotel has room for improvement, as this is a top $ resort.

Wonderful experience.

The staff is very attentive. The buffet food is pretty good. The overall appearance, ammenities and activities are very nice. A few things were horrible. We had to sign a waiver for each room, each day to use the waterpark. We rented a pool cabana and there was trash floating in the water around our area which was disgusting. We made a reservation at the Blind Butcher which had weird protocols. I had to literally initial three times and sign twice a contract indicating that I knew this restaurant was not included in the all inclusive package. If we were a no show we would be charged in full. If we left because we didn't like the menu etc we would be charged in full. Our family is 6 people. We were charged $845 which was not worth it so I understood why they required such a strong contract. It was very dark with poor table lighting and at times the music from the entertainment so loud we couldn't talk at all. Finally, at the VIP check out I had to get an exit pass or they would not let us leave. I've NEVER experienced this before travelling to 40 countries around the world. You literally have to present a pass that indicates you're settled your bill or the bell staff will physically detain you. I was shocked because this is an all inclusive family resort which requires prepayment so I can't imagine that people are skipping out on the gift shop bill. It made me feel like they didn't trust us so I won't ever be back.

Just returned and can't stay enough about the great experience we had, all the staff were very attentive, professional we missed this type of great service, they all went above and beyond to keep you satisfied. I want to highlight a few I remembers, Carlos in the Asian - Hibashi did a fantastic show, Glenny who helped coordinate a special arrangement for our daughter's birthday, which made it an unforgettable day. The team with the entertainment (Nelson Vargas), and this are just a few of the names I can remember. The food in each of the restaurants was fresh, such a large variety for all the tastes and needs. Thank you Hyatt for such an amazing experience. Hope to be back soon.

Our stay was exceptional!!

This hotel is amazing! Loved everything about it especially my iced coffee.

We just returned from a 5 day trip (two adults, two kids). Good spot for a getaway, pool and beach were very nice and food and drinks were very accessible. Food was above average for an all-inclusive type place. Very key that the couch beds are not cheap springs but rather foam so they happen to be quite comfortable. We did the Blind Butcher experience one night, was worth the experience, lots of food. One downside was the "reserve a chair by the pool" race.. full on here so if you wanted a spot for the first half of the day, you needed to be up very early to do so. That was somewhat annoying but we did beach first most days. Would definitely go again and recommend if looking for an easy pool/beach all inclusive vacation.
