Do not book this property. The property owners do not know how to use third party booking. It is too much of a hassle. Major faults of this listing: 1. The property owners do not know how to use Expedia, despite the fact that it is listed on Expedia. They do not know how to determine if you have a reservation, or if you have paid. 2. The property is a 30 minute drive from where it is plotted/mapped on Expedia. It’s actually in Rio Verde, Ecuador. (-1.3998002, -78.2998573) Discussion: The property owners do not know how to use Expedia, therefore they do not know how to validate a reservation, or even know how/when they will get paid by Expedia. They asked us to pay them cash. We told them to work it out with Expedia, and produced our email conformation/total paid. Expedia help desk couldn’t explain the process to them, or to me, resulting in hours of wasted time and considerable frustration before the issue was resolved. Pros: The property is wonderful. Without all of the payment hassle, I would have really enjoyed the stay.
