Camera nuovissima, pulita e funzionale. Bellissimo il terrazzo, che ha bisogno di una sistemata. Unica nota negativa, la colazione possibile solamente dopo le 9am. Per il resto posizione comoda, personale simpatico. Hanno un pub al piano di sotto dove è possibile cenare

Hyggeligt centralt beliggende sted. Meget imødekommende personale og virkelig god mad. Vi spiste både aftensmad og en fremragende morgenmad på stedet.

We had a lovely stay. The hotel has been nicely renovated and you can tell they have paid attention to the small details. We especially liked that they provided The Scottish Fine Soaps Company toiletries, which was a nice touch. As we had an early ferry to catch the next morning, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for us the night before. It included fresh fruit, yogurt, handmade cheese and pickle bread, snacks, and sparkling water. It was really convenient and much appreciated. Great service and highly recommended.

The room and dining area were very nicely updated! The staff on hand went above and beyond to help us out. One note: if you do “reserve now, pay at property,” they did charge us within a few days of reserving rather than waiting. We weren’t able to get this resolved. I would still stay there again, but just be prepared to pay when booking.

Foi uma experiência excelente. Fomos muito bem recebidos. Todos foram muito simpáticos. Jantar no hotel foi uma situação fora do comum, o melhor local de frutos do mar que já comi na vida! O café da manhã estávamos com pouco tempo e a equipe deixou tudo pronto para não perdermos a balsa. Nota 10!

Nice room over the pub. Many stairs which was not great for our scooter using companion but staff very helpful. Great location.

We had a great one night stay at the Clachain Inn. We had arrived wanting a bit of people space and our room delivered that space and haven after the journey in by train. The room was clean, the highland soap toiletries were great. The bed was comfortable. We ate in the inn for dinner which had a good choice and delicious food, we also took advantage of the breakfast which was included in our overnight stay. This was absolutely delicious and survived the full day on this alone. We would stay again.

The cute little room was clean and airy, the bathroom products were fully stocked, and a full hot or cold breakfast is provided. The room is up a set of outside stairs just above the restaurant, which has a nice variety of options on the menu. We enjoyed our stay both on the way to Canna and overnight on the return.

We had a delightful overnight stay in the room with twin beds. The shower is small but has lovely shower heads with good water pressure for washing long hair. The room is just up the stairs on the side of the Inn, so a quick walk to the restaurant for the included breakfast. There are cold breakfast options, and I had a nice strength latte and the hot breakfast. The service was good. I would stay here again.

We were only here for one night. I thought it was on the isle of sky. It is not but in the town of Mallaig. We needed to take a ferry to the island or travel 2 1/2 hours around to get there. We didn’t know this, so we missed scheduling. The weather was very cold and wet the next morning so we decided to bypass the isle of skye. The drive to Mallaig and all the sites of glencoe and the highlands made the trip totally worth it. We were in total awe.

Kamer was vrij klein. Raampje in de badkamer had geen gordijn of iets dus daar zelf een Kussensloop tussen gehangen. Ook weinig plek om handdoek of je spullen kwijt te kunnen. Diner in de pub eronder was erg goed. Ontbijt was niet uitgebreid maar werd op wel bestelling gemaakt dus vers.

Accommodations here are very basic, but it does the trick. Basic bed(s) in a small upstairs room with a small, but clean bathroom. Staff is super friendly and welcoming and that goes a long way. The restaurant serves quality food, including the made-to-order breakfast and the bar is well stocked and gets lively at night. I would recommend staying here but don't expect a 4 star experience. Great for a quick night stay or two, but might feel cramped longer than that.

Very convenient for us in the heart of Maillag, the food at the pub was great, room clean and comfortable, we had to leave very early in the morning to get on the first ferry to Skye and the staff was very attentive to make sure that we had what we liked for our breakfast/lunch to take away with us! They gave us multiple choices and packed it carefully for us leaving it in a refrigerator close to our room so it was effortlessly easy to grab in the morning. We truly loved the place and had an amazing time! I wish we had one more night! Thank you all at Chlachain inn, I’d love to come back one day!

We stayed for 1 night for work and we had an excellent stay. The staff are the highlight of this place, super friendly, welcoming and professional. Food was soooo good and lots of local options, very reasonably priced and the bar/restaurant and rooms were immaculately cleaned. We had the room with the little outdoor balcony and that was a great bonus. Make sure you have cash as tips for the staff (service and food is so good you will want to tip!) can’t be added on card payment although you can pay your bill by card. Will definitely go back, outrageous value for money. Thanks for having us.

Sticky wooden surfaces. No hairdryer. Though we had reserved a table for dinner, we were consigned to bar area on battered seating and near exit to toilets. Room was above the bar up steep , external concrete steps into a narrow, noisy corridor. The bar had a licence until 1a.m. so was blasting out music until then.

Personnel accueillant et serviable et à l'écoute de nos besoins (pack lunch complet si départ avant heure du breakfast à 8h). La chambre était très propre, literie confortable, produits toilette de très bonne qualité et vue sur les collines environnantes. Petit bémol concernant le bruit du pub, mais pas gênant après une bonne journée bien fatiguante. NB pas de parking privé, mais places disponibles aux alentours
