Super breakfast with good choice. Room clean with excellent quality king size duvet and lovely bathroom. Warm welcome and assistance with earlier checkin

The staff were especially helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was perfect as was the choices

We had a great stay at The Fleece Inn. The setting is peaceful and charming, and we really appreciated the Inn’s character. We enjoyed spending time at the pub and were especially impressed by the vegan dinner options. The staff were welcoming and flexible, putting together a delicious, well-presented, and affordable meal. The Inn is fully dog-friendly, and we would definitely recommend it. We’re already looking forward to returning!

The room was beautiful, really luxurious and tastefully decorated. Food and welcome were also great, lovely garden with playhouse etc, and our stay would have been 5 stars if it hadn't been just so very hot in the room, unbearably so, and our dog took ages to settle and we didnt get a good night's sleep... which I can't blame the Fleece Inn for, except if there was anything else they could have done to keep the room cooler. Other than that I'd definitely recommend it!

Lovely room, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Great breakfast choices and quick and friendly service. Will be my new go to for a half way stop over when travelling to family in Scotland.

Love everything about The Fleece inn, lovely friendly staff, beautiful accommodation, great food. Didn’t like anything. That’s why I have stayed there 5 times now. The fact they won country pub of the year in the whole of Britain says it all!

Very welcoming staff, dogs very well received, and despite a rowdy 40th birthday party, the staff coped well service was good and the room was far enough away not to be disturbed by the frivolities!

Lovely beer garden. Comfy bed. Great shower. Excellent food. Some very friendly and efficient staff. Nice tea and coffee. Plenty of soaps for bath and shower. Towels had seen better days with one torn and frayed. Coat hangers a mixture with one broken.

Beautiful country pub on one of hottest days of year! V comfortable room, great meal and breakfast excellent service by all staff. Pub is set in lovely countryside and has great garden.

Luxurious hotel. My room was lovely and had the biggest bath! The bed was very comfy and nice little welcome touches. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty, with lots of options and cater for dietary requirements. I will definitely stay here again.

Natasha at check-in and Ben at breakfast were fantastic. This is a great place to stay with great people and service. The wonderful breakfast was my highlight.

This was a fabulous stop for us. The hospitality was above and beyond. The rooms were adorable and immaculate. I lo ed this place.

Lovely B&B. Great breakfast. Had a very nice room with a bath. Separate, easy to use entrance for the rooms over the pub. Room was by the road, but nice and quiet. Lovely walks in the surrounding area and lots of spring lambs! Will be back!

We chose the fleece for its location, near Heysham port for our onward journey, but it is going to be a place we return to on other occasions. It was a great stay. The room ws spacious with a large comfortable bed. The breakfast was good. The food during the evening meal was delicious using local produce like Garstang blue cheese, locally smoked fish etc. It has local community evenings too.

It was a last minute decision on our part to come here due to change in travel plans. Had to make a choice very quickly and we were so fortunate. Staff first class and an excellent evening meal. Our room was large and comfortable with en-suite and walk in shower. Good breakfast too. A pleasure to give The Fleece Inn an excellent rating
