This place is amazing. It is very family-friendly, with lots for kids to do and explore. We stayed in the family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for us. There are many activities available and all were fun. Some of the things we enjoyed were a difficult hike, a night walk, beer and chocolate tastings, wine and cheese tastings, and candle making. The food is fantastic. The fireplaces are lit in the evening and our family loved sitting in front of the fire.

Absolutely amazing stay. Unlike any hotel I have visited before with a fascinating back story. We loved wandering the grounds and exploring the hotel. The staff are so welcoming and accommodating, and they offered many activities. We did the cave tour (a must!), the beer and chocolate tasting, the long trail walk, a horseback ride, and a night hike. The food was phenomenal, and they catered to our vegetarian diet. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. More people need to be visiting this gem.

Magical and beautiful place to spend a weekend. Super relaxing. Plenty of activities to do. Restaurant has great food. Our stay was a little expensive, but worth it. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the unpaved road to get to the Hacienda was full of holes and was very slick and dangerous.
