Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Hotel war mitten in Windhoek und zu den Sehenswürdig- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten war es nicht weit. Das gebuchte „barrierefreien“ Zimmer ist für behinderte Personen bestimmt. Ich finde es toll, dass behindertengerechte Nimmer preiswerter als andere Zimmer sind. Tolles Zeichen und Vorbild für manch andere Länder.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. There was some need of repairs, for example the bathroom door had a hole in it. The shower screen did not prevent water from going on the floor, in fact it looked like a flood after the shower had been used.

Centrally located and great amenities.

Not a bad stay, but we expected a bit more given it's a Hilton. There was little water pressure in the shower, somewhat surprising given it seemed to be a fairly new building. The music from the corridor could be heard inside the room which can bother some (we tried to go to bed quite early and found it a bit annoying until it was turned off at around 19:30). Instructions for parking were confusing as the sign showing directions is wrong driving in from one direction (correct from the other). Parking could also be included given the nature of hotel / destination, but at least it was not expensive (paid 55 overnight).

Very conveniently located in downtown

Hilton Garden Inn is nicer than the regular Hilton next door, maybe because it is brand new. The rooms are nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. There are other restaurants and shopping nearby, I highly recommend.

There was no tub and no women facilities in the room. When we requested we were told to buy a bucket from the nearby shops

The service, with smiles, openness and engagement, was the best I have ever experienced at a Hilton Hotel. Service with a smile is even an understatement. It was a small hotel atmosphere in a large brand hotel.
