We enjoyed our stay at the Ikala Hotel in Quito. It was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable.

La atención en la llegada fue rápida y amable. La habitación estaba limpia, ordenada, tal y como la describieron en el anuncio. El personal es amable y servicial. El desayuno era variado y abundante. El sitio donde se encuentra hay muchos restaurantes pero todos cierran temprano y la zona queda bastante sola. Y queda en una zona intermedia del centro histórico y otras zonas de interés turístico como el parque Ejido o el mercado de artesanías Además queda relativamente cerca de dos estaciones de metro (Carolina y Ejido). Recomendaría el hotel para turistas o gente que necesite trabajar unos días en Quito.

The hotel is unique and has lots of useful and quaint sitting areas to spend some time relating or chatting. The hotel restaurant is good with an open setting. It serves a variety of items in a buffet breakfast. Rooms are not fancy but comfortable. It's a bit of a hike to the old town but close to the Mariscal district with a range of restaurants and shops and a nearby supermarket.

Safe neighborhood, plenty of places to eat. Very good customer service.

All of the staff members were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is cute - I love all the personal touches and decorations. I didn’t realize that toilet paper can’t be flushed, so that was hard to get used to. The only negative here is the noise level. The doors and walls don’t keep noise out.

Gorgeous! Why is it 3stars? Whoever decorated my room was either handicapped or had a friend or family member that struggles with being handicapped. I could write a book if y’all actually read it.

Lovely place to stay.

The property is gorgeous just like the pictures. The staff are pleasant and very courteous. The colonial still is very pretty. Housekeeping always make sure the room was clean and stocks with supplies. The restaurant waiters will spoiled us every time we arrived. I will stay there again.

The room was a little bit more basic than I expected. I stayed here last year and got a really nice room. This time the room had more of a hostel feel to it

Ikala Quito Hotel was situated right in the heart of La Floresta. It is about a 15 minute cab ride from the historical center, however, if you want to be near great restaurants and a more hip and authentic part of town, this place is it! Our room was spacious, quiet, and clean. The best part of our stay was the wonderful breakfast every morning. We had a selection of different Ecuadorian foods, fruits, and juices. We even arranged a food tour that was in the area one evening. If you're looking for a great boutique hotel in the heart of bohemian La Floresta, this place is it!
