The resort was absolutely phenomenal. It gave us a true island feel with four different villages with different themes including French, Italian, Caribbean, and key West. The Italian and key West were definitely newer built and more expensive rooms however the French and Caribbean were just fine still. The food was absolutely outstanding with every single place we ate at. The entertainment was phenomenal every single night there was something to do. There were a few negatives including two groups of 40 high school 18-year-olds that just graduated that were drinking and running a muck all over however the resort is large enough to distance yourself from anyone. I'm pretty sure they told us they are building a couples portion of this resort to the west which should be a very popular option for people like myself and my wife. Overall highly recommend beaches.

We had a wonderful time. Beaches Resort was awesome. I highly recommend it to couples, families, etc. beautiful beach and pools, great dining options and lots of activities and entertainment. Will consider a return trip!!!

For the money people pay to come to this resort it should be top notch. The furniture in the lobbies and departure lounge are in horrible condition . Food is horrible. Great place for kids if they like Sesame Street and water parks and they like to eat french fries ,chicken nuggets and pizza every single day . That was the only food that was always hot and decent/good .

Food and staff were excellent!!! However, I asked for a garden view and was given a room (279) that was in the construction zone. Only one light worked in the room, dusty, and damp with a mildew smell. The dust triggered my asthma. I asked for a room change and was told they didn't have one available. The bed springs hurt my back. The hotel did offer $250 to use in the spa. However, I was celebrating a milestone birthday, and the room ruined the trip. My clothes started to smell like mildew. I was up all night, and ended up getting sleep on beach chairs.

The resort shouldn’t be a 5 star, it’s old, the rooms stink and are ran down, and the service is just “ok.” The food is absolutely horrible.

Incredible vacation and everyone in Our party loved it!! Beach was easily accessible and could snorkel right on your own beach and see beautiful fish. Pools were clean and staff was friendly and minimal wait times for dinner! We will definitely be coming back with our family of four!

I think the only reason this is a 5 star is because of the size of the resort and the many activities and amenities offered for kids. The rooms need renovation, particularly the bathrooms. The service was just okay and the checkout process took effort. Very strange that liquor wasn’t available until 10am, and there were limited beer/wine options in the room (no liquor). We won’t be back.

Disappointing experience all around. Room was dirty and deteriorated (my learning is that this is exclusive to the Caribbean Village). No WiFi signal in the room is unacceptable in 2025. Overengineered check-in process ate another hour out of our travel day when you just want to drop your stuff and go to the beach or pool. Drinks were poor quality and portions were small (I get it, there can be a lot of waste otherwise with all inclusive but it was a nuisance.) Do not book Caribbean Village unless you hate being on vacation.

Most staff are friendly - some are very disinterested. Policies seem geared to ensuring that guests access to food and drink are limited. Food is about a 7 out of 10 with a few things higher. Messaging from staff is inconsistent. Example is lady being told pizza to go will take 5 minutes and man right after her told will take 1 1/2 hours as I stood there waiting and watching. I have travelled a LOT to many places and I never do reviews - this was a big disappointment.

I booked a king master luxury suit. Was given a two double bedroom. This was my Anniversary! They wanted to charge me additional 1K for the room I already booked/paid for. 2nd day was finally given the correct room.

Great hotel, great service, incredible destination and weather. Food is plentiful, but not amazing, but very decent. So much to do at the resort, an awesome family trip destination. My kids love the unlimited drinks, and the free use of water sports equipment. And great shows at night, and a huge variety of restaurants

This was a great vacation And I would definitely refer others The premises is beautiful. Staff is great food nightly entertainment was off the chart.

Was such an amazing experience we will be back! The staff and the food 10/10, we stayed at the Caribbean and it was an older room. But overall no complaints

Would have preferred adults only resort.

They charged me for something I didn’t attend. Our room door stopped working two days in a row. Service was slow but I guess that’s how it is in the Caribbean. The best restaurants didn’t allow children under 12. Property is massive so if you don’t like walking this isn’t for you.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Transportation could use some improvement. Expedia informed me that I would have a pool view which I did not. Front desk informed me that Expedia provided incorrect information to me. Resort was good but next time I personally will make all the arrangements and skip the third party assistance.
