A 5-star hotel can only be justified by how great they handle their customers, not only when everything goes well but especially when everything goes wrong. We got a room (king deluxe with patio) that was facing construction (this is the room we paid for, we didn't know there was construction at the time). As soon as I opened the patio, I got an asthma attack. Kumar, the concierge, helped us to get a prompt solution and worked with the hotel team and the Duty Manager to revive the room, doing deep cleaning and providing a better room due to my condition. I can say Kumar has really gone the extra mile, beyond his responsibility, to make sure we have a nice, comfortable, enjoyable stay! And has been extremely helpful to make sure everything is up to our standard of expectations. I hope Dusit Thani management gets to read this review and give appreciation and promotion he deserves. He's such a great asset to have, someone who is wholeheartedly dedicated to the job. This isn't the first Dusit we stayed at, but this is the best so far. Sincerely, Your happy loyal customer.
