Second stay at this hotel and it's great, ideal location.

An immaculate hotel with high quality fixtures and fittings. Staff friendly and helpful. I did not eat here. WIFI was terrible which is the only reason I didn’t score it as 5 perfect!

This was my second stay at this hotel in a couple of months because the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable, the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent value for money. The location suits me very well because it's easy to get into Newcastle either on public transport or by driving, but also it's an easy drive to get to the coast. I'd definitely recommend staying at the Great North Hotel.

The room was fine other than a leak under the sink, the guy on reception said he would do what he could to get us checked in early it was 1.58pm check in was 2pm when I pointed this out he said they had been busy yesterday but did manage to get a room for us, if he had been a little curtious and said sorry it won’t be long then great no problem but to say we were early by 2 minutes is a little naff

Stayed for 4 nights, excellent facilities, room clean and tidied each day, Good having bar and food facilities on-site. Only issue was boom boom noise from the bar until midnight n the weekend but otherwise excellent. Will stay there again.

Stayed 2 nights. Good sized room. Bus stop right beside hotel - 15 mins into Newcastle. Comfortable bed. Gorgeous toiletries from Arran. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.

This is our go to hotel every time we visit Newcastle now been about 5 or 6 times, staff are always friendly polite and courteous, the Three Mile Pub is excellent with lots to offer drink and foodwise. Would recommend this hotel anytime

Stay here many times a year and it never always delivers. Great place.

Only stayed for one night but wished I could have stayed longer. The rooms have everything you need, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food is great value with generous portions. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
