Comfortable, and very near the airport, airport shuttle bus is available

The hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. It is perfect for a stay before/after a flight from/to Otopeni airport. However, the transportation in the area is pretty limited and the dining options are limited too.

Had stayed at this hotel in 2023, hence the reason I booked it again. Very conveniently located near the airport, a short 20-25 min walk from Arrivals, provided one does not have any mobility issues or more than a carry on suitcase. There is now a charge of 5 Euro per person for shuttle service to the airport. Just let front desk know what time you need the ride upon check in (shuttle leaves at the top of the hour from hotel) Room was clean and AC worked. Some noise from aircraft but nothing bothersome. Good breakfast buffet. Kudos to staff for making sure food was replenished as needed and tables were clean.

Convenient to airport.

Very surprised about hotel IBIS STYLE OTOPENI. It was a modern style, large bedroom, stylish and clean with shower in the bathroom and also you have a safe in the hallway... the breakfast was good with many options of food and very clean ... the service was amazing, and all the request were done right away... the hotel wasn't far away from the airport, but you couldn't walk at all due to the busy traffic and missing side walk... the hotel will provide you with a shuttle bus for a charge of eur 5 and you can reach in 4' to the airport , which makes your travel easy and convenient.... I will use this hotel in the future...

We arrived late in the evning , easy and short way from the airport, air condition didn't work well,

We were in Constanta for a wedding at decided to stay at Hotel Plonge, which we didn´t regret at all! We would have loved to stay more days. Amazing seaview with ducks and swans, both from our room but also at dinnertime. Lovely food in the restaurant, very friendly staff, clean - we have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay there. Some of the floors are under reconstruction after what we figured out, but even there, we didn´t heard any noise at all. It was really a lovely stay, relaxing, and it is a place that we, without no doubt, would be happy to return to. We can highly recommend it to others.

Small, spartan rooms

The AC was not cooling, hard trouble sleeping. No shampoo or soap was provided. Mini-fridge was not stocked.

Great location if you need a stop over, yhey can provide pick-up from airport with 24 hours notice, same eith return. It was perfect for me as i went to the Therme Spa which is about 7 mins away by Bolt. Restaurant breakfast were slso good.

The hotel is nice and perfectly located just 1 km from the OTP airport. The only minus was the air conditioning in our room which was not working properly, it was quite warm inside. Very kind staff and good restaurant.

Das Hotel ist m.E. unterhalb vom üblichen Ibis-Styles-Standard und ist deshalb zu teuer (in Bukarest gibt es viele billigere Optionen, die nicht schlechter sind). Das Hotel liegt an einer lauten und staubigen Einfall-/Ausfall-Straße mit viel Verkehr; praktisch ist die Flughafennähe, der Flughafen ist zu Fuß in maximal 20 Minuten gut erreichbar, auch wenn der Gehweg entlang der Straße nicht schön ist. Die Ausstattung ist eher einfach und etwas veraltet, abgewohnt, hat die beste Zeit hinter sich.
