Absolutely great! Small remark is a very unstable chromecast experience, otherwise perfect!

My favorite hotel in Stockholm! Everything is perfection- the staff, decor, food and location.

Love this hotel! It's like a boutique version of The Ritz or Four Seasons. Lot's of attention to detail and great staff.

Reception staff in particular are great, especially the Italian lady!

Great hotel, but terrible service. Especially from the staff in the breakfast restaurant. We also had to wait 10 minutes to check in.

WARNING TO GUESTS WITH ALLERGIES I stayed with my partner for 2 nights in Dec 2024. The hotel was well-presented and the rooms were quiet. Unfortunately, however, the hotel’s restaurant and the service in the courtyard salon (a separate restaurant also offered on-site) were awful. As I have some serious food allergies we deliberately chose to eat in the hotel (including for breakfast) because the hotel’s restaurants were rated very highly meaning that they would be well-aware of dealing with guests with allergies and other special requests. The prices reflected this reputation and were high for all items. All staff all spoke superb English. Unfortunately, despite telling staff repeatedly which common allergens I was allergic to on 2 out of the 3 visits to the hotel’s restaurants we were served dishes with nuts and sesame (2 very common allergens) in. Fortunately we recognised the presence of these allergens without consuming any of the food - however staff seemed completely unaware what they were serving and why it was a serious issue. When we raised the problem with staff they were dismissive and refused to take responsibility. This is unacceptable - we stated the allergies at the start of the meal, enquired about the food and actually clarified the allergies with our servers on all visits even ensuring that they wrote down the allergens. The staff attitudes were negligent and unprofessional - anyone with allergies should avoid VD entirely - it is unsafe!

The hotel directly connects to a lovely market which was, a delight to have a drink and meal at. It was nice to have another option aside from their restaurant. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms were quiet. It is located close to quite a number of things. Stockholm is a very walkable city. The neighbourhood was very safe. We did find it a challenge that our drivers could not drive up to the main entrance and therefore had to connect with them a block away with our luggage. We're not sure if this was a temporary situation or permanent.

Overall a good experience, but considering its reputation I was somewhat surprised to see coffee stains on the carpet, the lightbulb left on the bathroom sink and not removed even after 1 day of housekeeping, no price list for the mini bar, and the ability to hear noise from outside from 5am. Food is good, and service is friendly but not necessarily efficient. The cocktail came way after the food, or waiting 40 min for a club sandwich seemed less than ideal.

Great long weekend stay in a central location with great restaurants and bars in a stunning city. Definitely recommend a visit and stay at Villa Dagmar. Will definitely be back. Garden Terrace is lovely and does have music on until late so may disturb those early to bed but great atmosphere and buzz for most, and was a great spot to relax and have a drink or dinner.

I really only stay at Villa Dagmar when in Stockholm. The hotel itself is fabulous from greet to goodbye - the breakfast is wonderful, facilities in the hotel impeccable, and surrounding area is beautiful. Five stars each and every time I’ve stayed there.

The check in, was a little too slow and painful, but besides that and overall, we had a great experience and loved the hotel.

Villa Dagmar is a beautiful property in a very convenient location. Breakfast was wonderful, the service was excellent and my room smelled like fresh linen. We really enjoyed our stay.

Villa Dagmar is simply wonderful in every way. The reception and wait staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My room, 316, was small but the bathroom is large. The bed, pillows, and bedding are luxurious and super comfortable. The location is also excellent. I highly recommend if you are traveling to Stockholm.

Villa Dagmar was a phenomenally beautiful and stylish hotel in a premier Stockholm neighborhood, next to and connected via stairway to beautiful Oestermalm food hall. It came with first class staff, classy décor, extremely comfortable rooms including Lavazza espresso machine, and countless amenities. The morning breakfast buffet was second to none, offering a combination of self serve items and a la carte selections served in very nice Villeroy-Boch china.
