Small family owned hotel. Located in a remote location, so very peaceful and quiet. In the evening there is a nice fireplace in the lounge. Perfect for a quick pre or post dinner hangout on a chilly night. Drive to the hotel is filled with scenic views of the water, rolling hills dotted with grazing sheep! Rooms were large with modern bathroom facilities including the best towels we have experienced in a while! Undoubtedly though, the highlights of the stay were the exceptional food and the service by Sascha and Meghan. Despite being able to go out for dinner and breakfast we chose to have all 3 dinners and all 3 Breakfasts at the hotel. Really was a hidden gem in the Isle of Skye!

My only complaint is that I didn’t book a longer stay.

Clean, great service

Old estate home converted to a hotel. Lots of charm and a beautiful setting. Excellent staff and the meals were quite good. Expensive for what you get but so is everything on Skye. Separate hot and cold water in the sink and tub takes a little getting used to.

Nice facility. Service from the staff at check in/out and through dining was great.

Lovely surprise to find this wonderful place after a long drive and the final section along a narrow rutted drive leading to our hotel.Full of character and charm. We had a large room with excellent bathroom with option of shower or bath. Dinner was excellent and staff friendly and welcoming.A gem of a place.

I simply can not say enough good things about this place. From the wow upon arrival to the sadness of having to leave. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent. We stayed 4 nights and went on many adventures while on skye. We had a wonderful time!!

Séjour agréable avec une déconnexion complète. Environnement très calme. Personnel très agreable. En revanche, je pense que le service du matin pourrait être à améliorer. De trop grandes quantités sont servies et soit on prend tout soit on gâche. Personnellement je trouve ça dommage.

Honestly one of the absolute best stays in Scotland let alone Skye. I almost dont want to leave such a positive review because it will be even harder to stay again in the future! If you are on Skye and have the opportunity, Greshornish House will be the cherry on top on your trip!

What a treasure. Staff was so kind and helpful. I didn’t know what a wonderful place I booked until we arrived. Very pleased. Warm, inviting and grounds had lovely view and birds.

Greshornish House was such a lovely find for our family! Such a cozy and comfortable place to stay, with wonderful food and a fabulous staff - we only wish we could have stayed longer!! Next time on Skye, we’ll be back!

Fantastisk lille hotel med imødekommende personale fra første møde. Fik værelset Jura, som havde en perfekt udsigt over området. Lidt koldt på værelset, men det blev hurtigt fixet. Der løb kinesiske fasaner, små hare og får rundt på området - fantastisk.

My partner and I had such a lovely stay. Huge room, very clean and just such a lovely restaurant and lounge. The staff are so friendly and give the property a homely wholesome feel. Would recommend to anyone considering.

What an amazing place. We loved the charm of the old manor with modern touches and cuisine. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a pity we were only there 1 night.
