Amazing hotel, the staff was so helpful and the hotel itself was really nice and within walking distance of the Venetian Harbour without the crowds.

Fabulous Bouquet Hotel, walking distance from the Main town , beach and Harbour. The staff made our stay feel very special and welcoming. Breakfast was very good, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, with great views. Lovely rooftop pool and Bat too

Our stay at SanSal Hotel was unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to Harris. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. His recommendations were spot-on, and his kindness made us feel like we were staying with a friend, not just at a hotel. The hotel itself is modern, spotless, and perfectly located—beautiful rooms with stunning views. But it’s the exceptional service, especially from Harris, that truly sets SanSal apart. Thank you for everything, Harris—we can’t wait to return!

Amazing. The hotel is phenomenal, the staff are even better. This will always be our go to place for Chania from now on. Would go back to Chania just to stay here. The breakfast was packed with something for everyone, everything really tasty. The location to everything is excellent. There was major building work going on over the road, but we didn’t hear a thing from our room. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in

Great location, friendly staff and good service.

The location right beside the harbour was incredible. Easy walk to the lighthouse and Resturant’s. Rooms are beautiful and very new. Bed are comfortable and staff was very helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The pools were very nice. And the view from the rooftop at sunset was magical. Would definitely recommend staying here for all these reasons. Only thing I would change, putting in a fridge that is actually cold and the glass in the bathroom made privacy a little interesting sometimes. Plus the room with the pool, the balcony was always flooded and wet. Regardless of this, would stay again and loved everyday we were there.

Incredible hotel which we’d recommend wholeheartedly! Hotel staff went out of their way to offer the warmest Greek welcome and first class service, especially Apostolos, Renata, Anna-Maria and the other young man who served breakfast. Hotel is beautifully decorated, with stunning sea view rooms and a wonderful roof terrace. Delightful breakfast with plenty of local treats to sample. Very close to both ports and right in the centre, but quiet. We hope we’ll be back! Efharisto poli!

Location and view

Great location close to Old Port. The sound of the ocean was soothing for sleep. The staff was so helpful in arranging for transportation.

Short walk to old town Chania. Beautiful views of the sea from room.

Really enjoyed our stay

It’s a really nice experience! The hotel staff also prepare me a breakfast box because I have to catch an early flight and is going to miss the buffet. It’s really nice of them to do that! The location is close to Chana old town, it’s only a 5-10 minute walk. Would stay again

We booked the Junior Suite for 4 nights Very reasonable off season. Our room 602 with big balcony had the best views Old town lighthouse and harbor. Walkable to great restaurants Free Breakfast included Delicious!!!!

Anna-Maria was a fantastic and helpful receptionist and everyone in the restaurant during breakfast hours was really nice and kind. Will definitely stay again!

We so enjoyed our stay at SanSal. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special for our anniversary. They left nice notes and a bottle of wine in our room. We played cards at night with friends in the common room and when they needed to close up they suggested that we move to the business center if we wanted to play longer. We were arranging an early morning check out to catch our flight and they offered to have a carry out breakfast ready for us at 6am. Everyone there was so friendly and it truly made the stay special. Add to that the nice rooms and beautiful view, and this is a wonderful hotel that we will gladly book on our next trip to Crete.

The location of the hotel was very close to restaurants and local attractions. We reserved a upgraded room with a private pool on the balcony. The pool was unusable. The pool was not clean, leaking, and has many dead flies. The room had a bad sewage smell that lingering throughout our stay.

This was our first time to Greece and we booked sansal based on reviews and how close it was to the ocean. When we arrived the staff were so great and very helpful, they were also very friendly and gave good recommendations where to visit and where to eat. We will be staying here when we come back!

My room had a beautiful view of the Ocean and the light house. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The Venetian harbor is at a short walking distance but the hotel is in a quiet area. Breakfast was one of the best of our trip. Overall and excellent hotel

The hotel is currently adjacent to a noisy, busy construction site. We should have been warned of this before booking and whilst we were allocated another room when we complained, the windows in the new room had not been fitted properly and were therefore not sound proof. We were therefore bothered by noise throughout our stay. The rooftop infinity pool on the roof was also very disappointing compared to how it was depicted. It was far too small to be of use. It was a shame the situation with the noise was badly managed as most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, the buffet breakfast was lovely and our cleaning lady was excellent.
