Very good location but probably the smallest room I ever slept in

No lift so no good if you have heavy luggage or health problems. No Kettle etc and bath very very small. Reception is not managed and no English language!

El lugar limpio. Silencioso. Muy bien ubicado y excelente conectividad con el metro, buses y taxis. Solo para dormir. El cuarto bastante pequeño. Sin A/C, si tiene ventilador de techo. Caluroso de noche en verano. No tiene ascensor. Segundo piso. Sale cargar la maleta en las escaleras. Responde a los sobreprecios de Madrid. En otra ciudad, no vale lo que se pagó.

El lugar es sumamente cerrado y caluroso al límite de no soportarlo, solo cuenta con un ventilador, el personal de “recepción” nada amable, desde muy temprano el ruido insoportable, de martillos, taladros etc… en fin no volvería

Me quedé una noche. Llegué a las 2, salí a las 11am. Fue una habitación básico, limpio, bien, con una ventiladora que no fue muy fuerte, pero tuvo una brisa y puede abrir la ventana. Tuvo un baño chiquito con todas las expectativas- siempre aprecio el agua caliente. Se puede escuchar la gente del edificio y en el pasillo porque es como es el edificio. Me gustó el techo de madera y que amable era la Sra. que trabaja allá. Este hotel es muy muy céntrico y puede explorar mucho la ciudad!

This Hostal is in the perfect location for the city center. Sol center is a 3 min walk if that, plaza mayor & Mercado San Miguel are also within a 5 minute walk. There’s plenty of shopping, bars, and restaurants around. The hostal host was very very kind, we had a shower with hot water, comfy blankets & it was very clean. The only “bad” thing I would say is that the walls are thin so you do hear people coming & going & can sometimes hear conversation but it was quiet at night and safe. We spent 2 weeks traveling in Spain & began my trip in Madrid at this Hostal & also ended my trip at this Hostal & felt like I got the most of the city because of the location. It’s a good choice!

Lugar sin pretensiones. Limpio, eso si, pero muy básico

I liked the location and the receptionist. Other than that, the showerhead squirted everywhere and the drain in the shower was clogged.

Customer Service was great, Magda was friendly and attentive. The building itself is OK but the moment you enter the reception area of the hostal you can smell cigarette smoke. The smell in the rooms can be stronger although there are windows in the room, the smell prevails. I personally had a headache the nights we stayed. My sinuses were congested and my throat was extremely dry.

Personnel et accueil agréable, hotel au coeur de la ville et situé à 2 pas de la puerta del Sol, rue calme station de métro a 50 metres. Parfait pour un couple, voyage d'affaires....

No tiene ascensor, y las escaleras están muy deterioradas. La ubicación es buena
