When I arrive to check in (prepaid in advance) they told me that they already rented my booked apartment to somebody else for cash (and it was twice more than I paid through hotels.com because I somewhat understand their language when they discussed between themselves). Eventually in several hours they gave me two studios studios instead of two bedroom apartment. It was exteremely inconvenient because my family members had to go down (no elevators) four stories in one building and then claim 5 stories in another building. And do it multiple times just to have dinner together which was a challenge itself because studios (contrary to 2 bedroom apartment) did no have even a table! Next day I was talking with the owner of that apartment. He was extremely rude and told that I can complain to whoever but he does not care. I think that property simply should not be on hotels.com, period.
