Was quite disappointed in the room given all the great reviews we have read about the hotel. Wouldn’t have expected so many issues in the room for a hotel like Fullerton Bay: - there was hair in the bathtub when we entered - one socket wasn’t working - the TV control lags and hangs if you do not click on the control after a period of time - the lighting and curtain controls were lagging too - the shower head had water dripping hours after we bathed (was told it was the balance water but the loud dripped sound disrupted our sleep) - bathtub drain cover came loose after a while, and we couldn’t use it in proper. But we managed to rectify it after a while. - Not too sure if the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking, we could smell smoke coming from our neighbour at our balcony. The view from the room was really good though, and generally the service was also quite good. The Duty Manager, Julian did send someone to rectify the different issues faced almost immediately after we told him but it kind of affected our mood already, and added on to the disappointment we had from our staycation starting on the first day of phase 2 (heightened alert).
