Want to highly recommend Sensira if ypu are traveling with a family. The resort is small enough that we trusted our kids going place to place alone. The staff was absolutely amazing, they would check in on our kids for us at random and give us updates. Really made it a break for the parents too. The restaurants all did a great job at accomidating our family. We will definitely return to this spot.

Easy for families, property is well utilized with easy access from room to pools, kids clubs, restaurants. Staff were always welcoming, the only problem was trying to get a dinner reservation as it was a quick stay and nothing was available the next evening. I’d say for kids under 10-12, it’s pretty happening.

The resort was great. It wasn’t too busy when we went. Roughly 20% only. We had an amazing time. The zip line is great for kids and even some adults tried it. The trampoline park area was awesome for our kids age. 10/12. The buffet breakfast and lunch was fantastic each time. The Italian restaurant had a very good beef tenderloin. We went there 4 times in the 7 days because of that and the shrimp parmigiano. Our friends went to the Mexican restaurant once but we don’t eat deep fried stuff so I don’t know how it was. The steakhouse was pretty solid. Filet mignon was unbelievable. The rib eye is pretty skinny when you’re used to Alberta beef. Drinks were always perfect. My man Justo in the lobby bar was a champ. No complaints other than not enough umbrellas at the pool to get some shade when it’s hot. Highlight of the hotel is the tea house. It’s great little coffee shop with hot or iced drinks. And ice cream with a candy bar. Also a big shout out to our boy Angel. He went above and beyond from day 2 forward. Had a couple games of volleyball in the pool some dancing stuff and even helped us Canadians get the hockey game on the big screen. He was the best. I’d highly recommend seeking him out if you go. Very supportive and spoke good English. We still keep in touch. He’s a very good dude.

The property was nice. It wasn’t too busy when we went so the pools were empty. The resort is kid friendly and has lots of activities for kids like a trampoline park, movie theater, zip line, mini waterpark, etc. However if you’re looking for a resort with a beach that has blue water this one is not it. The beach and ocean was filled with seaweed everyday. The restaurant choices was limited. The buffet was only open for breakfast and lunch. And for dinner it was only three restaurants to choose from. Other than that, the resort was nice with friendly staff.

I DO NOT recommend staying at this resort. I traveled with my family and chose this resort because it had some decent reviews but mainly due to how close it was to an event I attended. I have been to Cancun multiple times and I have stayed at different all inclusive resorts BUT this one is by far the WORST. The swimming pools are dirty and the water is very cloudy. Customer service at the front desk is just horrible. If you are calling from your room, be ready to wait for a long time because they almost NEVER answer when you call them. Their food is not great either. I would probably rate their restaurant a 3/10. Their food options are very limited. The buffet always serves the same meals every day and they don’t really add or switch their food options. Cancun is a beautiful place to visit and there are a lot of good resorts but this one is not one of them. I would NOT recommend staying at this resort and I will certainly not be coming to this resort ever again.

This was our second time going for spring break with 2 other families. We went back because it was a good resort for families and had a lot of things for our kids to do. Everything was going great until our last 2 days. We found out they had a large group coming in that rented out the entire place. It became obvious that we were no longer a priority and all effort went into the staff planning for the arriving guests. There was no longer a buffet breakfast and they set up a tiny breakfast at a restaurant with very limited options. They took away the grab and go food near the kids area and instead used that area to store grab bags for the incoming guests before they arrived. Dinner became limited to 2 restaurants and they had limited choices of what “they had left.” I understand planning for a large event takes a lot of effort but abandoning your current guests paying full price is not the way to handle it.

This is a great property for young families. They have a small waterpark and a trampoline area, along with a movie theater and more. The young ones who were with us loved it. The pool area is fantastic as well. There are some downsides to this resort. The seaweed was bad, and the attempt to clean it was manual rather than using tractors like other resorts. The furniture needs maintenance. The beach chairs are falling apart, and the lobby furniture is dirty and in need of cleaning. It could be an amazing resort if they just put the effort into the cleaning and replacing of broken furniture.

PROS: quiet beach with seaweeds cleaned often, good service all around, good restaurants and food (ironically, Mexican was my least favorite. It never tasted fresh and was mostly bland. Ruperto at the tea house was amazing. Best service in the whole place, very friendly. I saw a family getting ready to leave one of the tables and Ruperto quickly came out from behind the counter to help them clean up and said goodbye to the kids. The bad: once you get off the main road you drive another mile or so on a VERY bumpy road, the driver went under 5mph at times. I didn't see this anywhere on the resort's website but they're supposed to be "green" so no A/C in some restaurants Events didn't match the calendar. Employees in charge of zip line and the video game room were never there or were up to 30-45 min late. Constant repairs all around during our stay. Two of the evenings there was jack hammering near the pools. Tennis & basketball were closed for resurfacing. The ugly: the last 2-3 days of our stay, the buffet and some restaurants closed without notice because after our stay, the resort was booked by a group of 700 guests who had their own catering company. So it was inconvenient for the resort to keep fresh food available for us regular guests and they just served us leftovers. ALSO, we stayed with 4 other families and a week after we came home, most of the kids from the families had rashes on hands and feet along with fever. Won't be coming back. Not for the price we paid.

We stayed from Feb 4–8 to celebrate our first anniversary. The resort itself is lovely, but the experience was ruined by front desk manager Saul, who is nothing short of a scammer. At check-in, he told us we had to pay an environmental tax of $4/night. We were staying 4 nights, so that’s $16, but he casually asked for $20. We trusted him, paid it, and didn’t think twice—until we realized later he charged us for 5 nights. He gave no receipt, and the form we signed didn’t mention the amount. When we questioned it, he became evasive and eventually offered the money back, claiming it was someone else’s “tip.” I later confirmed our booking only required $10 in taxes—he pocketed the rest. Worse, I have a lizard phobia and had one in the bathroom. We called 3 times over 30 minutes—no one came until the lizard was gone. Later, it reappeared and we called again 3 more times. Saul ignored the calls. I went to the front desk and confronted him—he lied, saying the phone didn’t ring, until we proved otherwise. Then, he accused me of faking it to get a better room. Another night manager (name starts with M) was equally rude and unhelpful. Staff like David and a sweet housekeeping lady were great—but management? Dishonest, disrespectful, and not to be trusted. We left disappointed and cheated.

Amazing small, safe resort for families.

Had a great time. Food and accommodations exceed our expectations. Great for kids but with an adults only section also. Will certainly visit again
