Spacious room, clean and quiet, close to highway 1

The staff was incredibly helpful, especially in the breakfast room. The room was clean, though there is slight room for improvement in maintenance.

A clean and modern hotel for a quick stay while on the road. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Breakfast was good (fresh fruit quality was not great). Pool and hot were clean and the fitness center was adequate.

Too close to highway as truckers like to use the jake brakes to slow down. Very loud.

Before arrival, I had a billing problem after re-booking at a better rate. I was incorrectly charged a cancellation fee and it took multiple calls to get it fixed. It was eventually resolved, but not a great start. On arrival, staff were mostly friendly and helpful, and parking was never an issue. The included breakfast was also a highlight. The scrambled eggs and sausages were the standouts. The pool and gym were welcome amenities, and the Wi-Fi was never an issue. The rooms looked clean at first, but issues kept coming up. One room had a sink that wouldn’t drain, and I was told maintenance might not be available that day. The problem wasn’t fixed until much later that day via a room change, more of a reluctant offer than a promptly-handled issue. The new room's sink worked, but had its own problem: the TV would freeze when lights were switched or devices were plugged in. In the second room, we found a previous guest’s dirty shirt behind a cabinet, and even after placing it in the trash, it wasn’t removed during cleaning. Like many hotels, housekeeping is already dialed back in the name of environmentalism. Even so, the one day they were scheduled to freshen the room, the towels were replaced, and that was about it. The dead housefly stuck to the window blind added to the impression that cleaning wasn't as thorough as it should be. Having stayed at most of the hotels in town, it's better than most, but it really didn't impress (at least this time) considering the price.

I brought my breakfast with me as I'm gluten free but the bananas were good as well as the lemon drink. Mt friend tried the waffles and they were good

The room was clean and appeared recently renovated, but we did notice a few issues (empty body wash, a loose shower head, and a slow-draining sink). Breakfast was great—scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle maker, plus the usual continental options. The gym was basic but spacious and very clean. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked well-maintained and had a waterslide. We would definitely stay here again.

We got to the breakfast room at 8:45am the first morning and the hardboiled eggs where done and were not replenished even though breakfast is until 9:30am. First room we got had a clogged sink. Moved to another room with a broken fridge and shower curtain with broken hook. No kettle in room so no tea. Only reg and decaf pods. I was told that hot water was available in breakfast area in main area. First night there was no tea, second night there was tea but hot water wasn't even lukewarm. Upon checking out at 10:45, the hot water was removed and not able to make tea. Also, one of the staff was unable to put calls through to our room the two nights we were there. When I inquired, he told me that I can call that person back and I told him that his phone not working is a safety issue. IT was all so ridiculous. I will be going back and staying at the Prestige Resort where we have always stayed.

Internet was slower than we are accustomed to. Overall we enjoyed the property.
