During my 3 days visit in Penang, I should say staying at The Gallivant was the most convenient one. The room was clean and the bathroom was well maintained with basic amenities provided. There was a small wholesale store nearby. It was very convenient. I would come back again.

I had a pleasant stay at The Gallivant Hotel Penang. The hotel is clean and looks exactly like the pictures, which is a big plus. The room is not very spacious, but it’s comfortable and just the right size for two people. For a budget hotel, it offers great value for money. However, one thing to note is that the hotel does not provide a Qibla direction, so Muslim guests may need to check it themselves. Overall, it’s a good choice for a short and affordable stay in Penang, and I’d recommend it to budget travelers looking for a clean and well-maintained hotel!
