Staff nice here but getting old and rundown. My room floor saw my socks get dirty right away. Cannot even get ice without paying 3 bucks. It was so loud around me past 11 pm and way early with screamy yelly kids up so early and moms with zero regards for others. SO I only stayed one of two nights booked and accepted the loss. Room was small too and I asked for quiet in advance and did not get that much quiet around me. ):

The room was clean, the staff were friendly, the pool enjoyable. The floor in our 2nd floor room was very squeaky and creaky.

We enjoyed that we had a kitchenette separate from our bedroom. We also had a balcony off our bedroom and even though we overlooked the parking lot we still enjoyed sitting on the balcony morning and evening. The hotel is extremely old and does need some updating however we found it to be clean. We were disappointed that we only had one air-conditioner. Thank goodness the air conditioner was in our bedroom. It would be nice if they had an air conditioner in the kitchen, as it was too warm to do much in the kitchen especially cooking. The outdoor pool was usually fairly busy but we were able to find a spot each time we used the pool. The location is excellent for people who prefer the beach and a float down the canal.

Older hotel, but staff is really trying to make it hip. Had free ice cream one night, and a free barbecue to celebrate Canada Day. Great location. Our room was surprisingly larger than expected.

Lovely place to stay. The pool was nice. Close to the beach and 15ish minute walk to downtown. There were a lot of families with small children when I stayed that were loud and it echoed in the courtyard/pool area. As my room was so close to the pool it made escaping the chaos a bit tough. Overall great stay, would come again

It is a very welcoming place, our second time here and we'll be back. The pool and outdoor patio area feel recently upgraded.

Had a family reunion booked at the hotel the pool area combined with their outdoor cooking area was an amazing surprise. The locations proximity to the boardwalk along the lake was a definite bonus.Great experience will definitely book again if in the area.

Great value for the money. Beds were comfortable, lots of space, enjoyed having the kitchen to cook. Great location. Definitely recommend.
