Our family really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casa dos Frades — the staff were kind and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable though lighting could be improved. The location is great, close to restaurants and attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Breakfast was good with quality food, though a bit more variety would make it even better.

The hotel offers a world of religious charm they isn't imposing. The staff provided a high level of comfort through their professionalism and their friendly approad to managing the guest needs.

O hotel é muito bonito, um verdadeiro museu. Porém, ao ligar o ar condicionado, ele praticamente inundava o quarto, tendo que por toalhas pelo chão para conter.

I’ll comment on the pros first. Location is superb, right across a nice park and the Teatro Amazonas. The area gets crowded at night, with people visiting restaurants and the park right across. The cons about the hotel are, mainly, neglect , the room I choose for my first night had view to the park, and it was very large, but air conditioning unit wasn’t working properly. Next day I moved to a cheaper room, with walls made out of dark glass, which let the sun come through at early hours, and at night the lights from the hallway won’t let you sleep. I guess those are little nuisances that could easily be fixed. Also the shower in my cheaper room needed attention. The terrace upstairs is nice, filled with flowers and offers a nice view of the teatro. All in all, the hotel is just fine for a couple of days.

Hotel location is great; the service was very good too! Rooms and breakfast are very basic, but are fine for a few days stay!

Pessimaa condições. Rústico, mas sem qualquer manutenção. Paredes com mofo e descascando. Lençol encardido, travesseiro tb. Única coisa excelente é a localização, ao lado do teatro no centro de Manaus. Café da manhã péssimo e de última qualidade. Sem televisão e nem frigobar no quarto.

Hôtel avec une décoration de caractère. Chambre correcte , grande avec un bon lit. Surtout l'emplacement exceptionnel sur la place centrale face au théâtre : musique, restaurants...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very lovely decoration overall, small and clean rooms.

There were jumping bugs in the bed, we just had to turn around and leave.

As áreas comuns são melhores que os quartos. Quartos estão realmente precisando de uma reforma, as roupas de cama então finíssimas, desgastadas, manchadas e sujas. Quando mencionei para a recepção, falaram que a roupa de cama volta assim da lavanderia (ou seja, no minimo precisa trocar de lavanderia). O quarto desde 5h da manhã é totalmente claro, sem nenhum blackout. O banheiro nao tem agua quente, molha o banheiro inteiro, e as toalhas no mesmo estado da roupa de cama. O cafe da manha é tenebroso, nao tem reposicao, e colocam fatias de bananas (?) para paracer que tem mais frutas. Enfim, se eu ficasse mais dias em Manaus certamente mudaria de hotel. Parece que alguem gastou dinheiro na reforma, mas nao quer gastar na manutencao do hotel.

The staff and especially the receptionist she was outstanding! She helped us with booking a new day and let us stay in their rooftop until we had to go to the airport in the evening. Highly recommend the place! Good AC and breakfast

Très satisfait de mon séjour : - Emplacement idéal près de la place centrale et du théâtre. Très animé, plein de restaurants et de musique - Propreté irréprochable et personnel très gentil et serviable. - Petit déjeuner copieux et suffisamment varié. - Décoration originale que j'ai apprécié. - Literie très confortable. Seuls deux petites critiques, toutes petites : - la salle de bain un peu petite. - Il manque un petit bureau.

O quarto é simples, nao me atentei ao fato de nao ter frigobar e fez falta. A agua do chuveiro fica escorrendo. A recepção foi excelente em tofos momentos. O cafe da manhã é simples, poucas opcoes. Mas em relacao a sabor era bom. Ah, vale a pena subir ate o ultimo andar e ver o por do sol lindooo! De forma geral, vale pela localização e todo contexto do hotel. A decoração tem um charme a parte.
