Friendly and helpful staff , had great stay here

This is a fantastic hotel, beautiful and clean. My skin is very sensitive, this is the only hotel that didn't make me allergic after my stay. Also, the pool was very clean; I could open my eyes in the water without red eyes afterward. The reception service was excellent, and I met a clean staff, Sity (not sure if I spelled right), she was friendly to chat with and showed me where to go when I lost. Overall, I would definitely stay again if I back to Australia next time.

Excellent place to stay. The views are stunning and not far from Melbourne city and Geelong. Well worth a visit! I have been here 4 times now and love it. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Will visit again. I wish they had a loyalty program with some additional perks.

Really comfortable rooms, nice outlook

Stayed in the king golf view room and loved it. All the reception staff were friendly, nice and accommodating. Room and the view was great and the bed was comfy. The surrounding Torquay area is perfect, with many dining options and ocean scenery. Would definitely recommend staying here and I would definitely be back in the near future. Thanks for having us :)

Nice stay. Rooms are ok but amenities could improve a bit. View over the parking not do great.

Great property, especially if you like golf. Wish I had stayed another night to enjoy the facilities (pool, tennis and basketball court). The room was large and modern. The bed-super comfy.

Good property. Great restaurant and bar and good golf course. The lift was out but we could get access via another lift.

Great Ocean Roadへのドライブ帰りに一泊しました。夕方の到着でしたが、スタッフの気配りに満ちた親切な対応が素晴らしかった。部屋も広く清潔。バスルームもきれいで満足でした。夕食もレストランで楽しみました。ちょうどピザナイト?で、とても美味しいピザを楽しめました。 妻は、ゴルフコースを眺めながらの朝食を楽しめ、エッグベネディクトがとっても美味しかったとの事です。 ゴルフショップのスタッフもフレンドリーで親切でした。初めてのコースでほぼトップスタートでしたが、フェアウェイにカンガルーが沢山いるコースをエンジョイできました。 隣接するビーチもTorquayの街も穏やかですてきなところです。

Very Disappointing. Receptionist checking me in not very interested in the guest. Poor explanation of where to find my room so I got very lost. No information given on the facilities. I asked if they had room service, “no, but you can get takeaway and have it in your room was the reply’ !!!! No information given on breakfast options. I did not even know there was a restaurant onsite until I read the dossier in my room at about 10.00 pm that night. A map of the place showing where everything is would have been very helpful. I stayed overnight to attend a function at the hotel, a presentation preceded by dinner. That dinner was also disappointing, tables set with no bread and butter plates, so people used their paper napkins to butter their bread rolls on. When I asked staff if we our table could have bread n butter plates brought out, he said ‘side plates’??? I said yes, I’d prefer to butter my bread roll on a plate, rather than the tablecloth. No condiments on the tables. Then, Alternate drop meals that were luke warm. Heating in my room not working properly. Truly, I could not wait to get out of there this morning. Never again.

Amazing venue and will be back. Great service, facilities and location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sands. Beds were comfy, room was quiet and food was good in the restaurant. Great place to rest for the night.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous surroundings and exceptional customer service. Would happily stay there again.

Great hotel, amazing service, very clean my only gripe was there where no block out blinds which affected us from having a restful sleep. Outside of this, it was a fabulous stay!

Great property to stay but gps takes you to a different location and you are lost.

View of the golf course was stunning. I wish I could have played a round!
