The view is nice and room is cozy. Air con is placed at the right top of bed so the wind is directly blown to bed, either super cold or super hot. Restaurants close at 8pm so not many choice for late arrival / check-in

Friendly and helpful staff , had great stay here

This is a fantastic hotel, beautiful and clean. My skin is very sensitive, this is the only hotel that didn't make me allergic after my stay. Also, the pool was very clean; I could open my eyes in the water without red eyes afterward. The reception service was excellent, and I met a clean staff, Sity (not sure if I spelled right), she was friendly to chat with and showed me where to go when I lost. Overall, I would definitely stay again if I back to Australia next time.

Very good room. Worth paying extra for golf course view otherwise you look over the car park.

Room was great however staff at the reataurant were rude when notified of a missing order.

Great room; however, the restaurant was not really worth a visit. It feels like being in a railway station.

The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel is well suited to work conferences. or golfing holidays. For the non golfer or conference participant, the hotel offers less. Although there is an excellent indoor pool, its frequent use for kids’ swimming lessons limits guest enjoyment to one lane for significant portions of the day. Nor does the hotel have an indoor lounge or easily accessible outdoor sitting area. But during the summer - with the beach and lovely walks nearby - the hotel serves as a very comfortable base.

The room was spacious and super clean. My only complaint would be to have a small ‘grooming’ kit in the bathroom, like a shower cap, ear cleaners cotton balls or something. I stayed 1 night and it was affordable. I’d definitely stay again for longer as I didn’t get the chance to use the amenities. Getting an uber was also super easy from the location.

Extremely clean, comfy, and quiet stay. The staff were accommodating and amazing with helping to guide around the area. Situated on the course with two restaurants to chose from, a bar, and some kangaroos that roam the greens in the evening. Local to multiple beaches, restaurants, and amenities. Can walk to the beach in 5-10 minutes. Approx a 10 minute drive to anything you need in Torquay. Definitely recommended.

Very clean, staff very helpful and friendly.

Staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, warm and accomodating to all our requests. The room was lovely and clean. Gym and tennis courts were awesome. Highly recommend this accomodation.

Loved the stay at The Sands Torquay. It's a beautiful place and peaceful location. Service is very attentive and friendly.

Great staff beautiful restort

Loved Hotel. Staff very nice and accommodating. We had a Junior Suite with a connecting room. Beds were enormous and rooms very clean. Great indoor swimming pool and gym we used with our robes! Wish we could have stayed longer.
