Santa Maria Briones is a true gem! The property is stunning with historic value and first class accommodations that pay respect to the site and its surroundings. The staff are always willing to help and are very knowledgeable. The Michelin restaurant within is a worthy dining experience which we highly recommend

I believe we were given an upgrade. The top floor room was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The complementary wine split was very appreciated. The small village is easy to navigate and the hotel is easy to find. Breakfast is served at your table buffet style; pick what you want. You can also order hot items. The restaurant in the evening is prepared by a Michellin veteran chef.

From someone who travels to Europe multiple times a year, this has been my favorite stay so far. I would stay here every time I return to Rioja. The hotel is stunning. The room was cozy and elegant. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Never heard noise from other guests. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is lovely and delicious. My husband and I normally don't eat breakfast but after seeing the spread, we had to try it and it was phenomenal. It was like having a little breakfast pintxos crawl right at our hotel. The town is very quaint and beautiful so we took a stroll everyday. Briones was the perfect location in between Haro and Logroño and Santa Maria Briones was an absolute gem. Can't recommend this place enough!

La habitación era muy bonita pero destacaría el baño, precioso y muy limpio. Por otro lado destacaría la amabilidad del personal tanto de recepción como los de sala, el sumiller muy profesional, ha acertado con todos los vinos y los demás camareros igual de majos.

Wonderful buffet and you can order eggs if you want. The reception staff is great and they can give you great suggestions in the region. The restaurant Allegar is wonderful!

It was an excellent stop over in La Rioja. The town itself is incredibly gorgeous and charming. Note if you're there during a weekday, it's dead but that's anywhere in the countryside in Spain. We were there on a Tuesday and it was empty but that made even more magical. Great hotel and service.
