C'est la première fois que nous dormions au-dessus d'un pub. Formidable. Chambre top british ! En outre le diner était délicieux.

Room was lovely, comfortable and classy. Decor was excellent and there were some excellent touches such as a beach bag and dry robes you could use while you stay. Even a stamped postcard to send home if you wish. Staff were excellent and food was good

Loved the characterful room decor and the extra little touches like the welcome drinks and the stamped postcard. The food (dinner and breakfast) was delicious too.

This pub is a sweet gem in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. I am so happy I found this place to stay in glorious St. Mawes.

Great stay in a room 11 which was more like a little separate home. Food quality was good and staff were nice. While overall cleanliness was decent, we had hairs in shower and over our toilet and my parent had some mess in their bathroom too. Really liked the branded ‘newspapers’ with the property details and its history, as well as the separate lounge downstairs.

Good location and good food. Lovely room. Welcome a bit so and so. Kitchen staff more welcoming than the reception staff who, to be fair, were also manning the bar (although the bar wasn't overly busy when we arrived).

Lovely few days at the Rising Sun. Room excellent, food good. Our only complaint was a very loud noise which woke us at around 6.45 am, think it came from the kitchen area.

Suitably impressed. Lots of nice add ins in the room. Coffee machine, tea making, fridge with St Austell beers. Snacks. Great variety of breakfast options. Lovely location.😊

Was a lovely modern comfortable room the only slight let down was the music from the kitchen below was a bit loud on occasion. Lovely food and great pub . Would stay again .

Stayed in room 3, which was huge and really comfy. Plenty of space and great bathroom. Sunday roast was perfect

Lovely little coastal town. The property is centrally located and ideal for exploring the local area.
