Appalling. Not at all acceptable

They charged me for my stay when i'd already paid through the booking site.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Leaky shower screen and mouldy sealant

Room was clean and efficient for an overnight stay. The reception area was not inviting, dark , dismal and untidy. Had to wait on arrival for someone to welcome us to check-in. Had to return to reception to request milk for our tea/coffee making and cups/mugs for drinking out of but were informed milk was not provided by the hotel by a miserable man, Glad it was only an overnight stay,

Easily accessible, but a bit run down . Staff were lovely , but it was rather grubby . Ok for a travel through en route .

Very convenient for overnight stays when travelling through France. We have stayed here several times over the years as it sets a high standard in terms of the quality of accommodation. A good restaurant is sited next door and it is convenient for visits to the heautiful city of Troyes.

A good place to stop on a road trip

Bed sheet not made fully, dirty towel left from previous customer, floor dirty, stains on wall. Sorry but if this is what almost 100 gbp buys in France then look at non hotels. 20 years ago this was probably good value, now it’s a flea pit.

Nice hotel, well placed not far off the motorway, safe secure parking, nice room, comfy bed, fairly clean, attached restaurant which was ok. Would revisit.

Very basic but adequate. Good stopover but a bit isolated. Bed and bathroom OK but breakfast very disappointing.

Perfect pitstop. Helpful staff . No room kettle but they filled our flask no problem.

We made a last minute booking here as we had been badly delayed crossing the channel. The welcome was warm, but so too was the room. When we entered the room there was a horrid ‘stale’ smell which was not good. We’d hoped that the air-con would freshen the air, but it didn’t, and it was pretty ineffective at cooling the room. All night the air was thick and uncomfortable. The room itself was large and had a toilet, a bathroom and two large double beds. Not much else (no kettle or fridge etc)

Basic as you would expect but entirely pleasant and adequate. You are a little out in the sticks, so probably a place to stop between A and B more than a destination. The Courtpaille next door is a definite bonus!

We have been using this hotel for many years as a stopover to and from the south of France. We normally book a "standard" rooms but this time tried a "premium". There was very little difference between the two although the premium have underfloor heating, which was cold on arrival and took a long time to warm up. The rooms all have tile floors and for our last couple of stays we have found hat the floors are dirty - as tested by wetting a piece of tissue and rubbing the floor. Overall, the hotel is starting to look tired - even though the second block is less than ten years old.

Comfortable and convenient overnight stay travelling south to north France. Room was in a separate block to the main hotel, clean spacious room, large shower room and separate WC. All good.

Bedroom was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was an enjoyable stay.
