Lovely staff and accommodation was ok

What a beautiful village and setting. The old white hart is a wonderful building, original features with tastefully done modern twists. Our double bath was more like a small pool, truly truly spacious. We loved it!

Lovely place and very welcoming team. Refreshing change to a chain. Room was comfortable, a little rundown in places. Clean but maybe hadn't been used for a while. Would definitely go again and this time get a meal as planned. Thank you.

I loved it here! I actually stayed an extra night I was enjoying it so much. The room was wonderful, the food delicious and the staff very helpful and efficient. It was luxurious and relaxing. I would definitely go again!

This is a lovely cosy B&B. The breakfast was brilliant (smoked salmon plus home made marmalade) and service excellent too. My room was very spacious, one small point - the bathroom was so hot, even though I turned off the towel rail socket the rail was still roasting. I can really recommend for business stays around Corby. I'd love to bring my wife here for a short stay to explore Rutland.

Amazing pub with lovely rooms.

Amazing room warm and cosy spacious matteress was a little soft for me but only a little thing on the overall stay . Lovely and quiet great tea tray and shower gels handwashes etc of a great quality (john lewis) , brilliant wifi and free and good freeview tv with good signal... overall great country cottage feel. Loved it will defo stay again

The whole property oozed character

We had a delightful weekend at this beautiful country hotel. It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, quiet, well kept, our room had an excellent en suite with a walk in shower. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves excellent meals and the breakfasts are very good too. There is a well kept garden area with tables and chairs where one can relax. Uppingham and Oakham are a short drive away. We will visit again, definitely.

Staff lovely, and despite arriving just after the kitchen had closed, the lovely chef rustled up a fab meal for us… staff were friendly and personable, and the room was gorgeous…

Lovely village pub with great rooms and staff and location. Was some noise around until restaurant and bar closed and staff finished. Completely acceptable and not late. Would def return.

Pleasant stone building with clean well equipped bedroom and pleasant breakfast. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Parking was easy. Nothing was poor.
