Excellent location. 10 seconds to the train terminal,however we did not hear any train noise at night. They have their own farm you could take a walk. Hot water. The lady in the frontdesk is super nice. Atmosphere is cozy. WiFi not very stable.

Comfortable hotel

Good: nice breakfast/restaurant, proximity to the train station Could be better: bedding had a black stain, you get woken up by birds at 4am, the train also choo-choos regularly (whatever room even facing the gardens, you WILL hear it) For the price, not worth it I think.

Very good place

Great location in the heart of town. However, the train noise does take getting used to, particularly at night since the hotel is attached to the station. Nice staff and good food options.

Clean room, good facilities, great & helpful staff However shower was inconsistent in temperature

We loved our stay at El Albergue! First off, we were very happy that we decided to stay in Ollantay during our visit to Machu Piccu (rather than Agua Calientes) which is an incredible location in its own right, with beautiful old town, great restaurants, and fantastic archeologic sites. El Albergue is located at the train station which made if very convenient, but also a romantic old-school vibe which we appreciated. We did also take advantage of their distillery and coffee experience and loved both. The staff here were so kind and helpful, couldn't have asked for better. The room was large, clean and comfortable and everything worked great. We ate at the restaurant one night and thought the food was great. We didn't find the sounds of the trains overly intrusive, but we did look for a room facing away from the tracks and that is probably a good idea.. Highly recommend this hotel!

Highly recommend the property. It is literally at the train station. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The room was quite good. I think the floor could use a little cleaning, but the room was generally clean. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Lovely hotel with spacious room, excellent service, dining, and a really great pachamancha experience. Highly recommend.

The hotel is right next to the train tracks perfect location to get to Machu Picchu. The staff was excellent and so was the restaurant.

Overall love the location. The only issue was having so many bugs on our door and inside our room. We avoided to step outside the room to make sure we don’t get more inside.

This was such an interesting and convenient place to stay. Right at the train station yet still walkable to the main square. The organic farm is beautiful and tucked away behind the hotel. We enjoyed the distillery and learning about the process. Restaurant food was very good and cocktails were some of the best I’ve had!

Bem localizado, aconchegante

We stayed at this hotel twice. We had 2 different rooms. The experience was completely different depending on the room. Our first room was an older room facing the train tracks. It was fun to see the train coming in and hear the music. Unfortunately we were there during the demonstrations so we never actually got to get on the train. We got to experience first hand the chaos of the demonstration. It was surreal that they were putting on the full show even when they knew there was a good chance the trains were going nowhere. The staff at the hotel were great and told us about the situation. I do not think many tourists knew what was going on. We appreciate the staff's honesty. Perurail denied there were any issues. Despite being so close to the chaos. The hotel felt like a safe oasis. The grounds are magical. The gardens are stunning, and the staff work so hard to maintain this gorgeous property. I loved walking around their farm, and taking the farm path to get into town. The restaurant is amazing and I loved the farm to table experience. The quality of food is delicious and fresh. Our second room was more modern. It was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. I appreciated having extra time in Ollantaytambo.

A pousada é muito boa , simples, mas com cama e banho de qualidade. A noite se escuta poucos apitos de trem. A grande vantagem é ser dentro da estação de trem. São muito amáveis e a comida de 1a qualidade, tudo produzido por eles. É cara mas para nós valeu.

Reservei o único quarto disponível no momento. Um triplo Standard. No momento da reserva escrevi que tenho problemas de sono. Se possível me hospedar em um quarto silencioso. Ao chegar no hotel, fiz a mesma solicitação. O funcionário me deu a chave me falando que não era barulhento. Simplesmente fiquei em cima dos trilhos do trem. Esses funcionaram ate as 2 da manhã com apitos e barulhos de freios dentro do quarto. As 5 da manhã logo retornaram. Seria tão mais honesto, me responderem que o único quarto disponível era nesse local, pois enviei uma mensagem ao reservar. O café da manhã e jantar deliciosos. A parte interna linda. Porém minha experiência foi inesquecível. O que era para ser uma experiência fantástica se tornou um pesadelo Desaconselho os quartos 1, 2 e 3 para quem tem o sono leve.

This is a truly unique experience. The grounds are beautifully landscaped; the rooms are large, comfortably furnished, and very private; there is a working farm, a distillery, and a coffee roaster as part of the property; and a terrific restaurant. And it is adjacent to the IncaRail train station.
