Room was lovely food great and staff were excellent

Hotel fantastic, atmosphere and location brilliant. Restaurant for dinner was unfortunately sub par for the cost. My wife's starter was not great, not hot enough and too pickly tasting. The apple crumble, was not an apple crumble, it was a sultana tart, and I dont really like sultanas! The breakfast however, amazing.

Hotel was magnificent jail tour was amazing the guide Becky was very knowledgable we had an amazing experience loved the whole experience would definitely recommend and we will be back

This place was amazing! Very comfortable, the jail has been refurbished exceptionally and if I ever come.back to Cornwall I will definitely visit again. I would recommend it to anyone

The place is beautiful and unique. With the attraction of the museum on its doorstep, was a lovely couple of days away.

After wanting to visit for a long time... I can only say.... I wish we had stayed sooner!! The staff were amazing. Reception were extremely welcoming. The restaurant staff were both friendly and accomodating. The bar staff were fantastic!! We even got a little historical tour, conducted at around midnight by one of the members of bar staff.

Just had an amazing night away, would definitely recommend, only downside is that if you book through Hotels.com it costs per person for the museum

noisy air con, squeaky floor board's, restaurant food sub standard, very expensive food and drink. hotel itself beautiful and full of history, great to have free ev charging.

It’s a beautiful property, full of history and interesting facts. The room was lovely and so nice and comfortable. The staff was lovely, friendly and so attentive

We loved our stay!

Overnight stay incorporating evening meal. Excellent experience stayed in the old prison which now a top class hotel.

This place is definitely worth a visit, amazing experience.

a night stop at a unique hotel. comfortable. good food. problems with phone lines for room service but very helpful staff at reception resolved this.
