Victoria was so lovely. Great location. Funky room.

The b&b was great! Breakfast was delicious, and we felt so safe and comfortable being there. The location was also perfect for sightseeing in the old town.

Our stay at B&B de la Fontaine was more than we expected. Victoria was amazing. She was kind, so very helpful and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our trip immensely.

We highly recommend staying here. we loved the decor of the room, service was amazing and the location is superb with parking facilities very close by and walking distance to the heart of Old Quebec. It was amazing trip with my mom and we made great memories .

The building was old and the room we stayed in was small but adequate. Being in the heart of Old Quebec, I was not surprised by its size. Nevertheless, our hostess, Victoria, was exceptionally gracious and helpful. She greeted us upon our arrival and gave us all the basic information like breakfast time and where to park and how to contact her with any and all questions related to our stay. The breakfast dining area while small was always kept clean, spotless, and organized. For those who have trouble climbing stairs, I would suggest to stay in one of the ground floor rooms because the stairs to the second floor is a bit steep. The building was a stone's throw from Chateau Frontenac and the promenade. It is near many restaurants and other eateries. So in that regard, it was very convenient. Victoria was always ready early in the morning to make breakfast for all the guests with a smile. She gave us suggestions on places to visit outside Quebec City which we took advantage of. As for parking, which was a concern of mine, wasn't bad a all. We parked in front of the building to unload our luggage then at Victoria's suggestion, parked our car at a nearby indoor parking lot. The cost for parking was a relatively reasonable $18 a day plus taxes. Overall, the stay was very lovely and I quite enjoyed the hospitality.

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt. Von hier sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Hotel wird familiär geführt. Um die Gäste wird sich liebevoll gekümmert. Hervorzuheben ist das tägliche Frühstück mit abwechslungsreichen Leckereien. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Our first time in Old Quebec. The B&B had very nice cozy vibes. The lady there was super nice and was very open to help when you have questions. Recommend this if you want to save money on accommodation(affordable). The area is near plains of Abraham, it’s quiet and nice. it’s not too far to tourist areas. everything is walkable.

What a delightful place to stay! Lovely decor, excellent breakfast and a charming host. Easy walk to local tourist sights and shopping. Definitely will return and stay here again!

The place was clean and as described. However, this is no parking associated with the building. You have to park in public lots or garages that are sometimes full. Be prepared to walk a ways to/from parking. There is not even a loading zone/15 minute parking area to drop off your bags. You just have to figure it out. When you get there they just have a map of the city with some highlighted places you can park. But again, there are not any reserved spots associated with the B&B so they were full at times which led us to have to circle around the city googling places to park. I find it very misleading that this place advertises that it has parking.

Not what the reviews had suggested! It was decent enough for a short stay and the price.

Location of the property is excellent in Old Quebec City. It is very close walking distance to the waterfront and tourist sites. The breakfast was good. The staircases are narrow and steep in the house but that is to be expected in a historical home.

Very historic building with a good vibe. Short walk to all attractions, markets and many restaurants. The room was well equipped and had a nice covered balcony. Skinny and winding stairway going up to room reminded us of others we have experienced in old Europe. Cool and unique place we would highly recommend.

Wonderful location for wandering. Beautiful city. The room was clean and adequate for my stay of 2 nights. Safe and accommodating. I would stay here again.

close to Frontinac

The stay was excellant! We had a hreat time during our stay.

We loved being in walking distance to the old city and the citadel, etc. the buildings are so charming and “old world” Europe feel. The biggest challenge was parking. It would have been helpful to have a parking map and to know ahead of driving into the city where we could find public overnight parking, as we drove around and around and finally found 1 spot at the L’Abraham Museum—10 minute walk from our room. Fortunately we had small backpacks and no huge luggage. Our room was up a narrow steep stairs ( part of the old charm!) and the space was tight but comfortable. We were not able to enjoy the included breakfast as we had to leave early morning. Overall any of the inconveniences were worth the proximity to old city Quebec and the walkability.

Beautifully older building, quaint with lots of charm. Not suitable for handicapped people as stairs are narrow and steep. Very close to the promenade at the end of the street. We will definitely stay here again.
