Hotel bien situé car au centre ville. Je regrette juste que la receptionniste ne m'ait pas informée correctement qu'il y a un autre hotel United avec piscine à 45 min et que l'hotel se charge d'emmener les personnes interessees. N'ayant eu que l'information "il y a un hotel avec piscine à 45 min", je n'avais pas envie de prendre un taxi pour aller aussi loin. Au lieu de ca, j'ai passé la journee du dimanche dans ma chambre.

Great location in central Yaounde. Perfect spot after a long flight or for business. Very nice modern facilities and courteous staff (in French and English). Street itself is actually quite quiet which is nice for Yaounde. Breakfast is great!

The staff were courteous, proactive and very helpful. The quality and standard of the hotel room and other facilities were very high. The room was beautifully decorated and spotless. I also had the opportunity to use the restaurant, bar and gym where i experienced a very high quality of service. I enjoyed the buffet and the breakfast at the restaurant. It is qorth mentioning that the airport shuttle is very handy, makes your arrival and departure experience smooth. The botel also has good views of the city of Yaounde, i will always go back and recommend anyone visiting to make United their first choice.

Very classy hotel will be my main spot in Yaoundé

C'etait mon premier sejour dans cet hotel qui est magnifique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres belles, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Le personnel etst tres sympa. Je retournerai dans cet hotel sans aucun doute.

Chambre bien, propre. Le petit déjeuner bon. L'isolation est un peu déficitaire et l'ascenseur un peu lent.

I’ve stayed there few times. Good Hotel, I like & Staff are great, but needs some improvements: 1- Shuttle request online doesn’t work (better call way before)- they forgot me at the airport once, when I called they said it’s too late :-(. 2-I guess there’s no backup generator. Last time, none of elevators worked due to low current voltage said the front desk- tha night I had to take the stairs to the 8th floor, good jogging :D

Very friendly staff. Tight security, easily accessible, very clean rooms with a lot of user friendly amenities. This is one of the best hotels I stayed in while on my trip to cameroon.

We chose the United Hotel in Yaoudé because it is very well situated, right next to the city council square and a few steps away from the Yaoundé Tennis Club where we had an event. Since there are government buildings around the whole area is very safe, it's even possible to walk about 7 minutes to the large Carrefour Playce supermarket nearby, I never felt unsafe. The hotel is brand new, very good air conditioning, amazingly good internet during our whole stay, and good warm water. The staff was very helpful, especially Huber who organized for us during our free day a trip to the Mefou Primate Sanctuary to see gorillas and to do a pagoda ride on a river, that was great. It's possible to change money at the hotel at a good rate. The prices were quite reasonable and so we recommend this hotel highly.
