Only dropped a star because the cafe was closed. However understandable as not many customers, which is a shame.

The staff are very lovely and hard-working always there when you needed them and it was a lovely place very quiet and relaxing

Small and cozy cabin in a really nice park, that don't look like an ordinary campsite. The owners took great care of us to make sure we find everything well.

Lovely winter option. Pod was cosy and warm. Shower/toilet block was excellent. Kettle and a few tea/coffee amenities provided which was lovely. Only thing the pod could have done with was a nightstand/bedside table for glasses, phone etc as ended up using one of the fold up wooden chairs. Mattress was very soft so if you’re used to a firm mattress just make note.

Need to pay £15 extra for bedding. No staff available if check in after 19:00

Good communication with reception. Kind and understanding about our situation. Campsite was clean and tidy.

Tolle große Lodge, ideal für Familien. Die Kinder waren begeistert. Sehr ruhig, eigene Mobilität ist erforderlich, da die Lage wenig zentral ist. Es war.ein sehr angenehmer erholsamer Aufenthalt.

Do not risk booking here!! My son was very excited about glamping. We booked two nights as part of a longer trip. The owners cancelled our booking on the morning, they called me at about midday!! We were already on our way. So, with no notice at all we were left with nowhere to stay for 2 nights. Refund was only made when I insisted, and will still be up to 2 weeks before I receive it.

Amazing place. Easy check in / out, perfect for a weekend break.

First time in a pod,Great value for the money

The bolt on bed linen cost was a surprise after booking the pod, but the Chestnut country park is worth a visit.

Nice place to sleep, weather should be dry, not much room inside and no roof to sit under.

We couldn’t lock our Pod from inside and wife didn’t feel safe without the door locked, so spent the night trying to sleep in the car outside the Pod. We couldn’t contact anyone after 7pm and didn’t get to the Pod and find the not working internal lock till 10:30pm.

The pods were very good but could do with being situated near to the shower/toilet block

Perfect little pod to stay for a short trip. Lovely location, very clean accommodation with basic amenities for the good price. Very friendly staff on arrival and check out. Would stay again.
