perfect apartment

The place was nice, but the check-in process was awful. There is no front desk - they use an electronic process, which failed, leaving us sitting in our car trying to get hold of someone to tell us how to get into the car park and where our room was and how to get into it. We got hold of someone who was very helpful and got us in, but on the basis of our check-in experience we will not use this company again.

The rooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable. I was there for one night so didn’t need any kitchen items but it seemed well stocked. I spoke to staff a couple of times and person was very helpful. Restaurant in building was very good. Location is great…near restaurants, coffee shops & public transportation.

The suite was great, had an amazing view of the city, and was sound proof. They didn't clean the room very well before got there, as there was hair on the floor, and pet hair on the couches.

My partner and I spend a lot of weekends in Waterloo, and we usually stay at the Delta Hotels by Marriott. After a disappointing experience during our last stay there, we decided to try something different and came across Laundry Rooms on Expedia. It was actually more affordable than where we normally stay, and when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find that we’d booked a beautiful penthouse suite with a wraparound balcony. The space was spacious, modern, spotless, and very well maintained. The check-in process was incredibly easy, with everything being self-service, which made arriving hassle-free. Even though there wasn’t a traditional front desk, the team was quick and easy to reach via SMS whenever needed. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in Waterloo.

It’s a very nice spot in a terrific location with within the heart of countless amenities. The room itself was impressively spacious and clean. I enjoyed my stay. But there were two irritations: (1) It seemed like the maintenance wasn’t quite up to par with the cleaning. The Keurig machine was well-stocked but useless because it’s broken; a prominent lightbulb was also constantly flickering. The bigger annoyance was check-in. This worked, in the end, but their automated system isn’t without hiccups and confusion. I ended up filling in the same form three times, and was still ultimately unsure whether everything was in good order until I received my digital key an hour or two before checkin. My booking was made day-prior, so maybe their system is just a but clunkier for such late bookings. On the whole, though, it was a good stay, and a very impressive room.

The property was beautiful. The building is in a great location, right above Lala social club, which was amazing also. The initial set up with virtual key, and parking was a bit of a challenge bc the texts with information went to spam. So it's not for the technologically challenged but my understanding is you can also request key card for pickup. The remote concierge was excellent and fast at solving our issues. We had a power surge in the area apparently, which caused some electrical outages apparently but again the remote concierge was quick to respond and update us on the situation. The bed was a bit lumpy but by 2am any bed was amazing! I would have given it an overall 5 but for the bed and the texting issues.

Gorgeous and fashionable 2 bedroom apartment with three spaces to sleep. Beautiful view of Waterloo. A high end stylish restaurant in the building to boot! Really a great find. Will definitely be coming back.

Nice appartment, nicely located. It however felt quite impersonal. Not only the kitchen was however minimally equipped but also messages from the hosts (although okay and professional) showed that it is managed by a company (or, at least, that was my feel). If you don't expect (or if you are trying to avoid) human interaction and if you are okay with sending copies of ID, then you will enjoy this very clean place.

Great spatious and clean apartment. Location wonderful, right by tons of restaurants and shops in uptown and just down the street from the LRT. Staff were responsive and friendly. Easily stay here again.

Great space. Had laundry in the unit. Did not have a gym. Place was clean. We liked it and would stay again

View very impressive building is beautiful and it has a great central location. What I disliked is the security deposit policy and how many emails for checking in. The security deposit info is given to u at checkin after they have taken the room fee at booking. They take a security deposit and put it on hold, rather than just debit it from your account like most hotels and refunded once you have checked out and the room is cleared. So your bank can hold your money 7 to 10 days. The security deposit is basically the cost of the room. I found this midleading, to not be disclosed until after you have paid for the room.
