We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Second Valley Cottages and Lodge. The tranquil setting, spotless and cozy cottage, and thoughtful touches made it perfect. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature was exactly what we needed to recharge.

I was shocked how poor this place was after booking it seeing a 9.4 rating on it. It's that really old motel-like vibe. I wouldn't recommend it unless it's just a convenient short overnight sleep.

Room was clean and tidy and the heater had been turned on. Shower was nice and hot but the bathroom is a little on the small side. Location is great, 10 min from Normanville, a couple of min to second valley beach and a few min to Rapid Bay.

Liz and Matt were very welcoming, adding items to the room prior to our arrival ( ice tray for G n T and coffee plunger ) Matt shared maps with us on arrival, suggesting spectacular landmarks and walks. Their recommendation of Aqua Blue for dinner was perfect. Clean, warm rooms and perfectly situated for our mini break. Thank you. 😁
