I never been to a hostel before. It's an very unique and interesting place. The front desk Sam is very knowledgeable and friendly to help. You can meet and talk with tourists in the bar. The signature cocktail is really great and cheap. There is a big mango tree in the back yard, you are welcome to grab for free. You can also hang your wet clothes in the back yard. The shared bathroom is clean.

The location is excellent, just off the main strip in Esperanza (its a small strip). Theres a lovely cafe for breakfast and coffee a minute away. Price is fine for the island. Its almost comical how noisy it is at night. Its a tiny island but you have the full range of city noises - restaurant, bar, cars passing w loud music, ppl chatting. It is v loud into the evening. For me, it wasnt a problem and they provide ear plugs but if you are light sleeper then think twice. Not sure if its the same mid week. The room and en suite are really homely, the floor couldve been cleaner. The room retains the cold from the AC, but blankets are provided. Its an air bnb not a hotel or guesthouse. Theres no reception desk, but instructions about access were all easy to follow. Service levels were adequate, if they made a bit more effort with hospitality, it may feel a bit less like an air bnb.

Great place to stay in probably the best area to be in on the island if you are looking to enjoy good beach and food near by

We only stayed one night to do a biobay tour and this was the perfect location. The bunk beds were fun and although i was hesitant at first about the shared bathrooms, it worked out totally fine. Rooms had a/c and we slept well! Communication with the host was via text and very helpful and convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

The weather was beautiful. Great location. Just be prepared to share bathrooms with no hand soap in any of them. And using the bathroom someone was on the roof with a leaf blower and blow water and leafs all over me when I was using the bathroom.

Waterside Inn esta en una excelente ubicación de Esperanza Vieques. Tiene todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estadia. Hay restaurantes cerca, esta ubicado frente al mar,la zona es muy segura tranquila tiene bares ,tiendas, food truck con buena comida al igual que los restaurantes. Ambiente familiar. El hotel tiene camas muy cómoda todo funciona bien. La dicha con agua caliente, aire acondicionado enfría muy bien. Fué mi primera vez visitando a Vieques ya quiero volver. Y volveria a quedarme en Waterside Inn.

Sucia sobre todo el baño y los mandos del aire acondicionado no funcionan correctamente

Great value overall but for such a tiny bunk room, I'm surprised with how many mosquitos were in there. Upon entering, we immediately noticed around 2 which after a bit of effort I was able to kill in a few minutes. But, the surprising thing is they kept coming back. It's almost like there's a hole somewhere that they were coming in from and there were perpetually 2 - 3 mosquitos in there. By the end of the first night I killed 6. Then the next morning I killed another 3. Luckily we had wearable head nets to better prevent mosquitos from biting us but I think I still had one bite on my ankle through the blanket. Maybe the doors can also be kept closed more during cleaning?

Place was clean and quiet

Really nice place. Open, quite, home-ly, clean, modern. Had a great movie night on their big screen TV!

Great location and check in with lockbox is very convenient. Chairs in the court yard is a plus.

Very low-key. Very small. Grounds are more like a compound. Nothing fancy about this place but it served the exact purpose we wanted. Basically connected to Lazy Jacks Bar that has a decent menu and a solid mixed drink selection. I wouldn’t normally give this type of establishment 4-stars but taking into consideration the location, walkability, accessible parking and quiet grounds it seemed fitting. There wasn’t anything outstanding about this place but there also wasn’t anything wrong with it.

Lo unico q le hace falta es mas estacionamiento y queda mucho mejor✍️
