A rather nice hotel by the Raba River, only 10 min. walk from the train station and 5 min. walk from the city center. The B/F is good enough, and a supermarket (Interspa) nearby is a big plus. There is almost no Wi-fi signal in my room (217), I have to go to lobby to get connected. However, if I come to Gyor again, I'll still stay at this hotel.

Es war ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt im Hotel Klastrom. Die Hotelmitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut.

Very good and quiet hotel . Excellent breakfast. I mean a five because service is very good, the rooms are quiet an very large. It is an old building with high ceilings.

De passage pour une nuit pour nous reposer car de Belgique la route était longue mais le confort était bien présent malgré une chaleur de 35°C la climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement et les lits étaient de tout confort.. Je reviendrais sûrement pour notre retour de vacances pour nous reposer avant de retourner vers la Belgique 😊😊😊

Vi havde nogle fantastiske dage, hotellet ligger perfekt i bymmidten og i gåafstand til alt. Servicen var i top og alle var søde. Vi havde 2 små hunde med og de var mere end velkomne. Vi kommer gerne igen

Did the job right in the centre of Gyõr. Room fairly plain and basic, but everything worked. Breakfast acceptable. Love the build and the history.

Although the property is older, it is definitely well taken care of. Close to the older part of town and less than a ten minute walk from the train station you can't go wrong staying here. I will say it was one of the smallest beds I've ever slept on. One other cool note, the Pope stayed here once!

Das Hotel befindet sich in einem ehemaligen Kloster, die Umgebung und der Innenhof sehr angenehm. In der Nähe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und zahlreiche Gaststätten. Vom Bahnhof am besten mit dem Bus erreichbar. Die Zimmer einfach eingerichtet, sauber. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ausreichend. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte hervorragend bei einer Außentemperatur von 33° C. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war ausreichend gut.

Noisy A/C in room 205 and too soft matress

War schon das dritte Mal in Gyor. Das Hotel ist leicht von der AB zu erreichen. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Hinter dem Hotel beginnt beginnt das Leben. Trotzdem sehr ruhig. Einfach aber gut. 👍

It was very interesting as an old historic building, but the air conditioning in the room was broken and not suitable for use.

... Zimmer wie erwartet gut, Frühstück genügte meinen Ansprüchen voll und ganz, mein Motorrad sicher im Innenhof geparkt, trotz später Ankunft sehr hilfsbereiter Service ... top ...

Smart looking hotel in former convent, in Spain/Portugal this would be a Parador/Pousada but it might need a bit of spruce to get up to 5 stars. Atmospheric place and a comfortable stay. Staff were helpful, location is bang in the centre next to the river, about 10 mins from the rail station.

Nice hotel

Interesting old building in a great location for exploring Gyor. Close to the center but quiet. Excellent breakfast and super helpful staff. Everything worked everyone was helpful and great value. We were only here for one night but it was at the end of a hectic month of travel. In Gyor fairly frequently but this was our first time at the Kastrom we will be back.
