All very good, though we found it a bit noisy at the night with trucks (it is on A1). Would stay again.

The check in and out process was seamless with the reception closed. The unit was lovely, clean, and the property was well maintained. A convenient location for accessing the sights in Bowen.

Older place with pet friendly vibe. Showing its age but everything was functional. Staff was trying to make our stay good, but we were only there overnight. Cute pool, easy acces from highway, still using physical keys. When you arrive you check in and your keys are in the room. Unusual for US folk, maybe this is common in Australia? We were travelling in a rental car so we were driving up the coast from Sydney, Port Macquarie, Childers, Bowen, Cooktown, Richmond Hill, Emerald, Morere, and back to Sydney. Driving and staying at places like Ocean View made out trip more interesting.

Room was clean and felt fresh. Good size room and comfortable beds. Highway wasn't as noisy as I expected. Great price. Will stay again.

Yes ocean view was great.

We stayed at the Ocean View Motel for just the one night while passing through Bowen. It's quite a distance from the town centre and any eateries. The motel was good for our one night's stay.
