Generally a decent hotel. I was staying with friends for a weekend cycling trip away so didn’t spend much time in the room. The major issue was the room I had ‘room 4’ the heating was broken and couldn’t be turned off. I called reception twice to sort but nothing happened. I was told to open the windows. TV only had children’s channels and 1 of the lounge chairs in the room didn’t have a cushion. Bit underwhelming. Didn’t see any breakfast as I was up and out early each day. Bed was comfy however so would have slept if the room wasn’t 28-30 degrees at night :(

Good place away from the town centre.

It’s my second stay and I can only recommend this place, very quite good parking and good value for money. Staff are great

Very unusual place, very peaceful and beautiful

The hotel definitely does not live up to the pictures on the web. In a three day stay, we had no air conditioning, was promised a room with a bath we didn't get, you couldn't open the windows properly which is a fire hazard, and one window had no mosquito net. All not usually a problem (apart from the fire hazard) if the owner hadn't have had the heating on in the spa, creating an oven in the rest of the hotel on nights when it averaged 25 deg C outside. He had clearly tried to address previous comments on here about missing bedside tables, but the footstools he had put in were so low and angled they were more of a hinderance. With just a small attention to the details this could be a much nicer place to stay, but it is so unloved and the owner so surly, that it just would be never some where to go back to. Please note the spa is not free, parking isn't free.

Excellent hotel… just I little difficult to arrive to the hotel because google maps location is wrong but the hotel is excellent…need street signs to get to the property hotel

Clean, nice surroundings, nice room

I stayed 11 days in Kortrijk and decided to stay the last 4 night with my wife in more nice hotel with option of spa. Was a little disappointed. Our room need attention and no information about spa in English and no one seems to mind showing us arround or tell us about possibilities in Spa. I will find some other hotel for next time. I would love to have being noticed as it should be in 4 star hotel and enjoy what they have to offer. Did not went to spa so I can not say if it is ok or not. Breakfast not for me since I try to avoid bread.

Very good, nice rooms, smells well. Was given a double bed instead of two twins but they changed it very quickly.

A very calm and relaxing 'retreat'-like atmosphere despite its fairly central location. A great place to relax after a busy day out and about.

Really nice hotel, beautiful rooms and really close to train station without being noisy! Very peaceful and relaxed.

Quiet location, free parking, nice room, food available.

The place is so hidden that it is difficult to walk to from the train because the taxi drivers will not take you there. The place is run down, and the staff is indifferent. The room was dirty. You basically open the door and you run into the bed. It is a horrible place. The food was basic and expensive at the restaurant. They branded the resort as a retreat, but it is more like a nightmare. I will not be back, and I will go out of my way to tell people not to stay there. Horrible!!!

The room was wonderful. Full and diverse breakfast. No time for the spa unfortunately! The restaurant is good but expansive for what is the plate. Would definately go back if I have meetings in this area.

I wrote a review explaining just how bad our experience was, but it was over 1500 words to really sum up all the bad points. Briefly: Lousy location down a badly maintained road next to the railway tracks. Looks like a derelict industrial site. Poorly maintained exterior - peeling paint, weeds, unloved plants. Disinterested staff. Rip off breakfast (€19 each!). Charge to use pool / spa (€34 each!) Impractical, uncomfortable furniture in room. NO AIR CON No atmosphere, no comfort. Probably great for masochists, ascetics, special forces stag nights looking for something to keep up their training.

Highly recommended. Spacious large rooms. Quiet part of town.

The rooms are not sealed, you can hear every noise outside and i constantly had smoke coming into my room. Also the breakfast was average and expensive

I stayed at Wu Wei by accident, one of the few hotels that had two rooms free at short notice. A very relaxing atmosphere with an unexpectedly nice sauna / spa and amazing pool area! I stay in Kortrijk a few times a year and will definitely be staying here from now on.

This hotel is close to town, breakfast was not worth the price, better to go into town for a meal.

I went there for business, but it's within walking distance of the city center of Kortrijk, so perfect to spend the evening at.
