Beautiful view and peaceful. Wonderful location with several great places to eat with lots of seafood. The staff were very knowledgeable of local history. There were so many fantastic views to capture we will have to go again.

Extremely clean & was very accommodating for a late arrival

We flew out from BC for a wedding and came a few days early to tour around. We picked this place because it was oceanfront so close to Peggy’s Cove. The place was super cozy, beds were very comfortable, and the view was incredible. Was perfect for what we needed!

We had an amazing experience at Clifty Cove and could stay there indefinitely. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The views off the balcony were spectacular and it was a peaceful place to enjoy the natural surroundings. Conveniently located to Peggy’s Cove, downtown Halifax and Mahone Bay/Lunenberg. We will definitely stay here again.

Waterfront views in cozy Peggy’s cove we were minutes away from the light house and the cool fishing town. Check in was fast and easy, staff was great and helpful, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The view is why you stay.

The surroundings were beautiful, and the property was peaceful and quiet, which made for a very relaxing experience. It was also just a short drive from the main attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clifty Cove. Upon arrival our host answered all the questions we had and had some very helpful recommendations on where to eat. Our room was clean and overlooked the bay. There is a seating area out back with Adirondack chairs. This was the perfect spot to watch the sun set and visit with other guests. Located within minutes of Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse it was a great place to stay.

For a motel this was an excellent find. Quiet, rooms clean. Desk staff were very helpful.

From the exterior and the pictures online, it didn’t look very impressive, but it was very well appointed everything was very new and had a great little sitting area out back to look at the ocean

Beautiful and clean property with friendly helpful staff.

The property was fine but the front desk person was very rude and not helpful. We had advised them in advance of our anticipated arrival as they requested. Our flight from St John’s was delayed so I called and advised them we would be arriving at about 8PM and were told that was fine. We arrived at 8 and the person there was quite rude.

The lady at the property said the check- in time is 3:30 pm. But their written confirmation was at 3:00pm. Confusing! When we got the keys and opened our room, kitchen garbage and washroom garbage were both removed and the bed was messy. When we mentioned it to them. They cleaned it in 20 minutes. Apologized. We stayed in room number 8. The view was excellent! I still recommend this place. Because what happened to us may not happen to others.

We really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfy. The room was clean and the view was excellent. We did have a problem with the WiFi for about 4 hrs. It was frustrating for us. We own a business and it was our evening to put in payroll. We got really stressed out. We were afraid we were not going to complete payroll or need to drive into town for Internet. The Internet came back up about 10pm. So, if Internet or TV is important to you, apparently, according to the owner, tourist come into the area and overload the system and Internet goes down. But, if not, it’s a cute place on the water.

Overpriced, dated, and cheaply furnished but it had a decent ocean view. I would not rebook.
