A good place for vacation.

酒店很好，离阿岗昆公园大概1小时车程，由于公园里没有多少酒店可选，于是选了这家。酒店非常好，度假式酒店，就在湖边，最难忘是湖边红的发亮的枫树。环境好，很幽静。晚上可以看日落，非常棒。房间很干净整洁。唯一不足的是苍蝇太多，不小心就跑到房间里。

Staff went above and beyond and the lake was great for a swim after a long day on the road.

The water has smell . Bfast not included , it should be nice if there’s a free bfast because of the location .

There was no hot water in the room and the mattress was worn out and lacked support. I left with a back ache. When I brought the lack of hot water to their attention in the morning, I was told “yeah room # - doesn’t have hot water in the sink, you should have tried the shower.” There was no way I was going to shower with cold water. No price adjustment was made. The property has a beautiful view of the lake, and a quaint ambiance. I want to support local business, and I did not want to travel to a large chain hotel in Pembroke, even for a cheaper price. Overall, the Sands could use some improvements. For the $200 price, I was seriously disappointed. Make the trek to a better hotel for your money. It had recently snowed, and the walkway was not cleared at all.

Incredible stay at the Sands on Golden Lake. We arrived by snowmobile, and Zach checked us in, gave us the keys to our chalet, and also made us takeout. He even delivered the food to us! The chalet was perfect, looked to be newly renovated and had everything we needed. We departed by snowmobile in the morning and there was a grab and go type of breakfast for us. Perfect! The OFSC snowmobile trail goes right through the property. Move love needs to be given to the Sands, and it should be a haven for passers through, and snowmobiling. Thanks for everything!

The scenery was fine, but ths staff, such as there were, were unfriendly and unhelpful. Restaurant was closed three days of the week, but there was no microwave in the room, and nowhere closeby to have a meal.

I’m giving this place 5 stars mainly for the beautiful location and calm atmosphere. The room I got was a bit older and could use a few updates, but everything felt generally clean, no unpleasant smells, just a little dust here and there. What really makes Sands on Golden Lake special is the view, absolutely magnificent in the early morning, and at night the sky is filled with stars and even a glimpse of the Milky Way since it’s tucked away in the quiet countryside. It’s a beautiful spot for anyone who wants to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature’s beauty.

Room immaculate and spacious, though the external building surfaces need cleaninf and sweeping. The waiter with the vikings tattoos was very freidbly and helped my husbans fins gluten free food and beer

Nice property on a really nice lake!!!

Das einzig gute ist die Lage am See. Ansonsten sehr unfreundlicher Service bzw. gar keine Servicepersonal greifbar. Trotz anderslautender Info war das Restaurant geschlossen, nächste Möglichkeit zu essen nur mit dem Auto erreichbar. Unterkunft war sehr sehr verwohnt bis hin zu unsauber. Schade um die schöne Lage!

Great view, but very inconvenient. Amenities are just shampoo and soap. No teas Staff didn’t stay at the property, had to make a phone call to reach, even no answer. They said there‘s a grab and go breakfast, but no staff showed up with breakfast at the office until 8 a.m.which was locked up over night. Won’t come back to this hotel again,

We arrived late but our room had been set up, and someone came back into the office to welcome us. The room is comfortable and clean, but the real stunner is the view. You can sit outside your door and have an uninterrupted panoramic view of a big lake, which is spectacular at sunset and when the stars come out. Can’t wait to come back.

Zack and team were awesome to us. Wonderful place that we’ll for sure come back. Ideal place to take a few days off. Unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the spa, but we’ll do that next time; we’ll make sure to book it in advance

We arrived after sunset and left around s foggy dawn, so we didn't get to see much of the lake view. But the room was very nice; wedstay there again. Our only disappointment was that breakfast wasn't available until 8, and we needed to be on the road before then.

Stopped for one night. Definitely would not recommend. Dirty, not very friendly staff at the check in nice lady on duty in the morning. Breakfast was an experience, muffin, banana, coffee out of a dirty coffee pot and a limited choice of cereal out of 3 old beaten boxes, actually looked like the breakfast was put together from what they could find in the owners kitchen cupboards, this did give us a chuckle though as never seen anything like it. Biggest complaint is how dirty the place is. Clean bedding and towels but everything else was dirty, old and tired. Great view of the lake and nice (misleading) website.
