We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. And if you have heavier luggage, no elevator only stairs. Besides there are many jogging trails around there, pay more attention the coffee shop closed at 3pm, restaurants are closed 4-6 pm. As there are not many food options there, if you are like us with normal stay ( no certain purpose- hiking, sailing, kayaking etc) it’s not really right place to stay. And room rate is not reasonable at Cad217/ night (smaller & economical room) and 1.5 hours to Langdale ferry terminal.

We really enjoyed this property. It was nice to sit on the balcony and watch the boats and birds. We also enjoyed the sunrise and water view from the bed!

It had a great view of the harbor. It will be helpful if they have air freshener in the rooms.

Super small town so not a lot of choices. We got in later than 6 and didn't call. The manager was available but way into gaming and didn't want to leave his house. Gave the passcode through the window (super awkward), but the room was also open.

Small 4 room hotel attached to marina general store in the village of Egmont. Lots of character! Every room has a spectacular view of the channel. Clean comfortable and a decently equipped kitchenette. Friendly staff. A unique stay.

Loved the view from the room and balcony

I had to clean the bathroom sink, wash coffee mugs and sweep an entire dustpan of sand off the floor. There was a keurig but no coffee (I asked for some and got some plus some old wine glasses I had to wash first) I didn't make coffee as there was nothing to put in it. Check in was weird because I guess he told me I'd only paid 30% so I paid 70 % more and was told to check my bank account to make sure. I will do that once I gave a secure connection. Comfy bed. Nice view. $242 a night for a very basic situation. So much potential for it to be nice though.

Pretty basic, what you'd expect for the price, but staff super helpful and rooms clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The room was run down. There were bugs in the room when we arrived. There was a rip in the screen so you could open and close the window (done on purpose?)...so no surprise about the bugs getting in. There was no soap, no dishtowels, no washing cloth for doing the dishes. The positive was the bed was comfortable enough and it was clean. It had a nice view but we felt it was expensive for what we got.

Kitchenette area was missing many dishes, there wew no dish cloths or tea towels.

Nice large room (202) is upstairs, but has a great marina and inlet view Nice large king size bed, well stocked kitchenette, bathroom with shower over bath and separate toilet Egmont is an expensive place to stay, with little accommodation We have stayed here at Bathgate previously, and again this time , the unit is well situated with parking on site, and a small convenience store literally next door ( owned by same management)

Mark was so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be returning soon. Loved everything about our stay!!! Room and view were spectacular!

Waterfront room balcony with beautiful view of snow covered mountains. Very close to skookumchuck provincial park and one museum. Kitchen has all the necessary things, except oven ( room 202). Mark is very kind person and helpful. It was nice talking to him. If I go there definitely, I will stay here only.

Super cute little room! Nothing fancy but you’re far out and the view of the calm water in the marina is amazing!

Terrible communication. Only able to check in between 4-5pm. Got there no phone number. Room smells like curry, relatively clean but the stench was horrible. Pictures of the room are deceiving. Not at all the room as shown in booked pictures. Very disappointed. Great view but be prepared for poor service. When you go check in and your told it’s your fault that you didn’t call ahead to say you were arriving at 8pm. I don’t know where in the world 8pm is considered a late arrival.

Clean room , friendly staff. Mark was very helpful and friendly. Morning Mountain View was fantastic. We could use the microwave for dinner and breakfast to heat up our food. Convenient store has variety of food and snacks even Alcohol. Great place to rest and enjoy night after skookumchuck narrows trailhead. Want to come back again.
