The location is close to local attractions and restaurants. The owners are incredibly wonderful people that take the time to make sure you are having a great time. A great choice if you are staying in Port Alberni.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Cedar Wood! Marla and Tom are gracious, friendly and helpful hosts. We would certainly stay again. PS Marla & Tom, my birthday hike up 5040 was wonderful - we made it up and down safely and had a super memorable time!

No Children Allowed There was a mix up with our booking and we were informed upon arrival that no kids are allowed due to health reasons of the operators/owners. We have one 8yr old boy. They reluctantly let us stay as it was late, but under conditions that he was to be with an adult at all times and that we needed to monitor noise levels etc. Wanted to make that note here so others would also see as it gets lost in the small print. The place itself was ok. Fitted the need to stay one night in Port Alberni.

Such a friendly welcoming place to stay. A perfect stop en route to Ucluelet.

A very good accommodation run by a couple who are very efficient and welcoming. There is breakfast included, and if you must leave early before the breakfast hour they will provide bagged breakfast which are large. The rooms are well maintained with comfortable beds and the bathroom shower also functions as a jet tub. Very spacious common area with tables, couches and a pool/snooker table. Well maintained yard with gazebo is available as well.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights. The house keeping was not proper and we were not provided with additional soaps or change of towels till we actually asked for it. The breakfast was same for all three days and there were not many options. No eggs or any non vegetarian food was available. Everything was quite limited.

Saubere, geräumige Zimmer, welche etwas besser klimatisiert sein könnten, doch offene Fenster und Ventilator waren dafür sehr nützlich. Schön eingerichtete Unterkunft mit vielen Details und sehr freundlichem, aufmerksamen Gastgebern. Frühstück vielseitig und gute Qualität und tolles Ambiente. Ruhige Lage der Unterkunft mit genügend Parkplätzen.

The owners were very welcoming and friendly hosts. They took the time to ensure we knew where things were, how things worked and just general banter.

Excellent mom and pop home feeling

The sylvan setting of this B&B is veery peaceful, with well-kept grounds and nice ourdoor seating areas. The staff was very helpful with one of the owners carrying our bags to our 2d floor room and bringing them down upon checkout. The building was very quiet, and the pool table on the ground floor provided some self-entertainment. The continental breakfast was delicious with homemade scones and fresh fruit available as well as yogurt and homemade granola.

Extremely well run B&B. Very clean, Tom and Marla take great pride in their property. Expansive continental breakfast with lots of home made goodies.lovely garden.

All is perfect. Everything is wonderful, it was so perfect to a point, we wish we can stay even more. The shower was great but the best was the bed, was so wonderful, I did not want to get up. The property was so trimmed and manicured to a perfection. It can compete with the botanical garden.

Nicest couple that was very helpful throughout our stay

Our hosts were super friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. We will definitely be back, our only regret was we didn't book for a longer stay.

Amazing B&B!! Looked after incredibly well and the owners are very friendly. Love the entire experience. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay here again.

We were only there for 1 night and it was the last night of there season. The owners are lovely and gave us great advice on places to see. We loved the decor and our room was spacious with a comfy bed. I would not hesitate to stay there again
