The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.

The Mountain View Cabin did not have room for us for two nights, they ungrade us to Nido holiday Inn, it's a very good place with two nice owner. The only problem is it is difficult to find even you got a GPS. Good breakfast and surrounding there,thank you Susan

We did like the fact that our cabin was close to parking #2 . The check in was a bit awkward because there was a note that they were at the camp kitchen . I walked to the camp kitchen and it was full of guests . I had no idea who I needed to check in with . I walked up to the crowd gathered around the fire pit and asked if there was someone in charge . No response they just kept talking like I wasn’t there .. I did finally ask another by the grill and he was . The cottage had an everything we needed . We brought food and snacks and drinks so we were grateful for the fridge, microwave , electric kettle , and even the toaster. Excellent However the mosquitoes were horrible .we covered ourselves with off and still got bit . A quick walk to our cabin and quickly closed the door and we were safe from bites . The cabin even had a handy bug zapper to use Incase some got in . . For our reason on staying there was convenient to Kootenay ,Banff, lake Louise, Jasper , Glacier , and Golden ( ya gotta go see boo the bear ) , great scenery at pull offs and Banff was great for dinning and shopping . About an 1-1/2 hr drive . Not bad to save from the more expensive hotels . .we had a great time and will have the memories to share with family .

If your stuck for an over nighter it will do, but for over $200 a night it should be a little nicer.

As advertised, basic cabin in the woods. Amenities were certainly sufficient: toaster, mini fridge, kettle, microwave, dishes and cutlery. Good shower with lots of hot water. We were only there for one night’s rest on our way through but the beds were very soft and that combined with the heat made for a very poor sleep.

Check in was great as I received an email beforehand explaining the check in process. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower was hot so those points made it a nice stay after tenting for a few nights prior. I would suggest however that there be more light in the room, and more mini kitchen amenities such as a coffee maker, a garbage can and more glasses and utensils for a family of four. A wash basin would be nice too rather then doing dishes in the bathroom sink. There were BBQs to cook on and a coffee maker in the shared outdoor kitchen, but the mosquitos were insane so it made outside cooking almost unbearable. It was nice to have access to DVDs, however the two that we chose to watch stopped halfway through because they were scratched so we didn't get to finish watching either movie. All in all, although it was a nice break from tenting, we would not stay here again.

Loved the views, loved the isolation, loved the community

The only thing that was good was the hard foamy bed. I was not impressed with room at all. I would never recommend this cabin at all.

Property was in the quite wood area but bit remote from main road. None to very poor cell phone reception. Free Satelite wifi was available but very poor or none connectivity. Its 15-20 mins from Golden town. Cabins were clean and well managed. Have fan, heater, hot water in the bathroom.. Overall it was a good experience..

I booked the place based on prior reviews. It offered basic shelter, exposed wires, plywood walls and an electric flyswatter for the mosquitos. It did have a refrigerator, coffee maker, and a microwave, yet the beds were a mattress on a wooden board with two by 4's nailed together for the frame. It offered shelter, and a basic camping experience.

Enjoyable stop near Golden. Easy check in, main office available when needed, hot water.

We enjoyed the nature and our cabin. Don’t forget to take mosquito repellent!!
